Nominations for the 61st Grammy Awards were announced Friday and one of the nominees was brought to tears live on television.Singer Janelle Monáe -- along with Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes -- announced some the nominees on "CBS This Morning." NEW YORK (AP) — Phil Griffin is stepping down after 12 years as MSNBC president, the first major post-election change in the news industry.NBC Universal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde says Rashida Jones will replace Griffin.Jones, who is currently the head of breaking news at NBC and recently directed the network's coverage of the 2020 election, has been with NBC News for the past seven years.She is the first Black executive to lead a cable news network, and Conde has said increasing diversity is one of his top goals."Rashida is the right person to lead MSNBC forward into a new era," said Conde in a press release. NOBLESVILLE, Indiana — Concertgoers at a Rascal Flatts concert in Indiana on Thursday night were left wondering what happened after the event ended abruptly.Due to a "security concern," everybody in the band had to leave the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center, according to a Facebook post from Rascal Flatts."The safety of our fans, band and crew is always the top priority for us, so we are so thankful for everyone who jumped into action and for your understanding," the post reads. Caitlyn Conlon had front-row tickets for the concert. She said at the beginning of the concert, everyone felt safe, and one of the band members said to the crowd, "With everything going on in the world today, we are Americans first before anything else. We are all one and just forget everything going on and let’s all become one tonight.”Later in the concert, the keyboard player started to play another song, then abruptly stopped, she said. Conlon said they were told by security that they had to leave right away.
