Some may call this story a coincidence but this Corpus Christi, Texas couple calls it fate.Turns out they were both born on the same day, delivered by the same doctor all while at the same hospital.It was at Bay Area hospital almost 23 years ago that the special deliveries took place.Sierra Molina and Marcus Acuna’s love story is hard to believe but it’s true. Now, this couple wants to make their wedding day just as special as their love story.It was while the two were getting to know each other they learned this love connection was meant to be. That’s because the couple was born on the same day, in the same hospital.“I went and asked my mom. And she was like why what’s wrong? Well, the girl I’m talking to has the same birthday as me. She goes, really? And I go yes. It’s weird,” said Sierra Molina’s fiancee Marcus Acuna. Then they were delivered by the same doctor.“So when our parents told us we were like oh that’s cool let’s pull out the birth certificate and we saw it on there,” said Bride to be Sierra Molina.“It was divinely a shock to find out that there is somebody out there that has the same birthday as me and lives in the same town as me for years as long as we’ve been here,” said Acuna.Their love continued to grow and on Christmas Day in December of 2019, the two got engaged.“When I realized I wanted to marry her, I was like you know, it’s something that I want to do and this makes me happy and she makes me happy,” said Acuna.Since their story is so special the wedding date they chose will be as well.“Now that we are going to have our wedding on our birthday on August 23rd when we turn 23 like that’s so special like this date whether it’s during corona or not we know we wanted to have this date,” said Molina.If you are second-guessing getting married during a pandemic, the couple has some advice for you.“Just do it. It’s not about how big it is or how small it is, if it’s in a backyard, ya know just anything. SpaceX and NASA teamed up again this weekend to launch astronauts into space — and officials hope that this weekend's launch becomes a routine that's repeated often in the years to come.Sunday's mission launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida at 7:27 p.m. EST. It was originally scheduled for Saturday evening, but pushed back because of onshore winds and recovery operations, according to NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine.Earlier this year, two NASA astronauts launched into space aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule. The historic launch marked the first time that a private company in the U.S. had launched astronauts into space and marked the first launch with humans aboard from U.S. soil in about a decade.But the May launch was still considered a trial run. According to CNN, that first trip was considered a "demonstration" mission and was flown by two former military test pilots.Dubbed "Crew-1," Sunday's launch is how officials picture the future partnership of NASA and SpaceX to look in the years to come. Sunday's launch featured a larger crew with a more diverse skillset, and the group will remain onboard the International Space Station for a much longer period of time once they arrive.The crew includes three NASA astronauts — Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker — and Soichi Noguchi, an astronaut from Japan's space agency, JAXA. 1371

Someone broke into Queen Califia’s Magical Circle located in Kit Carson Park.The sculpture garden features many works of art, including a mosaic maze, totem sculptures, a fountain, and a wall in the form of playful serpents.  The vandals cut the lock to the gate leading into the property. Then they smashed more than 20 custom shaped mirrors in the mosaic maze.  They also damaged two of the totems. The damage was discovered this week.Lech Juretko, of Art Mosaic Inc, helped the artist, Niki de Saint Phalle, create the sculpture garden for the community. He is also the one charged with repairing it.“I cannot really explain it,” Juretko said about the damage, “It’s sad. It’s never happened.”Juretko estimates it will cost ,000 to ,000 to repair the damage. He did not have a timeline for the repairs.The City of Escondido released the following statement to 10News.“The City plans to keep Queen Califia’s Magical Circle open during the regularly scheduled hours, weather permitting. Signage will be posted, and areas that could possibly be sharp from the glass and tile breakage will be blocked off. In addition, we always have a volunteer docent on site at all times while the sculpture garden is open to the public. Shopping this holiday season is going to be very different for many people due to the pandemic. And the types of gifts are changing, too."There is no question that 2020 has been built around this pandemic. In every way our life has changed from how we work, to how we live, to, of course, how we shop. And this year we have seen the rise in COVID-related gifts," said Michael Parrish DuDell, Chief Strategy Officer for CouponFollow. CouponFollow conducted a Black Friday shopping survey and found 39% of surveyed shoppers say they're going to gift a face covering to their loved ones."About 33-34% expect to be giving some type of hand sanitizer. So, this year, the stockings might be full not so much of candy but of these more COVID-related products," said DuDell.CouponFollow also looked at how much money people will be spending this holiday season, and broke it down by generation. Millennials and Generation Z plan to spend more money, while Baby Boomers plan to spend less.The National Retail Federation found that, overall, people plan to spend ,000, which is less than last year. Since 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan went missing in September 2019, a string of events has led to the arrest of their mother, Lori Vallow, and her husband, Chad Daybell.Human remains were discovered in Daybell's backyard on Tuesday, just after he was brought into custody in connection with the case of the missing children.
