Our cars remain grounded, and we're assisting local, state and federal authorities in any way we can.”As a result of the crash, the National Transportation and Safety Board is investigating. OWEGO, N.Y. — A New York police officer is being hailed a hero after he saved the life of a man trapped for 10 hours in a car with no heat that was buried in snow.According to New York State Police, 58-year-old Kevin Kresen was driving during Wednesday's snowstorm when he ran his car off the road.
