(KGTV) -- Deputies are searching for a suspect they say stabbed someone in Vista early Sunday morning before fleeing the scene.According to deputies, the stabbing happened just after midnight on Flower Lane, a street located inside a condominium complex about half a mile north of State Route 78.The suspect was identified as Christena Potter and remained at large as of Sunday afternoon. The victim was survived and was taken to the hospital, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.Deputies didn’t specify whether or not Potter had a relationship with the victim. Patrick Valenzuela was charged Wednesday with domestic violence and several other related charges. In October of 2018, Valenzuela pleaded guilty to a separate domestic abuse charge, admitting to hitting his girlfriend at a restaurant in Carlsbad. Prosecutors added that he grabbed his girlfriend’s cellphone and hit her face. They also said he chased her to her car and beat on her window and that she was scared to let him into the vehicle. After pleading guilty, Valenzuela was given three years probation and ordered to a domestic violence recovery program. Valenzuela is scheduled back in court on March 22. 926

A watchdog report accused Clinesmith of altering an email to say former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page was not a source for another government agency. “The fact is they spied on my campaign and they got caught,” Trump said at the White House on Friday.But the five-page charging document is limited in scope and does not allege criminal wrongdoing by anyone other than Clinesmith, nor does it offer evidence to support Trump’s assertions that the Russia probe was tainted by widespread political bias in the FBI. VISTA (CNS) - A male recently reported missing from Oceanside was hospitalized this morning after he was struck by an SUV in Vista.The collision was reported just before 3 a.m. at 2405 N. Santa Fe Ave., said San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Johnston.The pedestrian was struck by a red Dodge Dakota that was southbound on Santa Fe Avenue. ``The driver of the Dodge Dakota looked down briefly and when he looked back up a pedestrian was standing in the middle of the roadway in front of him,'' Johnston said. ``The driver of the Dodge Dakota attempted to swerve but collided with the pedestrian.''Oceanside firefighters provided first aid to the pedestrian who suffered an apparent broken leg and was unconscious with what appeared to be severe head trauma, the sergeant said.He was taken to Palomar Medical Center for treatment, Johnston said. (KGTV) - Neighbors in the 700 block of Lemon Avenue in Vista say they were stunned as they watched a landlord pull out a pistol and start shooting at his tenant.Neighbors tell 10News there have been screaming matches at the home in the past. They say the landlord had been trying to evict a tenant who was living in the garage. The neighbors did not wish to share their names out of fear for their family's safety.The watch commander said they received a 9-1-1 call around 6 p.m. when the first shot was fired. Deputies arrived and investigated, then left when they couldn't find the landlord.Around 7:50 p.m. the landlord returned and, according to the watch commander, fired several shots at the tenant.Neighbors said it sounded like fireworks. They said they saw the landlord cocking his pistol, they believed it jammed.A video provided to 10News by neighbors shows deputies with rifles drawn approaching the home.They arrested the landlord and his associate.Details on the man, the associate, the tenant and the charges are not currently known. 1070
