They just launched their non-alcoholic beer, Coors Edge."We are a beer company and we are going to be a beer company for the future but we are trying to meet our consumers’ changing tastes,” said Matt Hargarten with Coors.Non-alcoholic beer is nothing new, but liquor store owner Mark Crowder remembers the old version."It used to taste like sugar sweetness trying to turn itself into alcohol,” said Crowder. “It was horrible."Companies are now stepping up the flavor game, like Heineken, Clausthaler and Brew Dog, along with smaller breweries.Non-alcoholic beer begins its life as alcoholic beer. DENVER – Mexican drug boss Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman received a life sentence, plus 30 years, on Wednesday for his role in running the Sinaloa cartel.That means Guzman, infamous for escaping prison twice in Mexico, will likely be spending the rest of his days at Colorado's Supermax prison. The maximum-security facility, known officially as the USP Florence ADMAX, sits about 100 miles south of Denver in Fremont County and is widely regarded as the toughest federal prison in the country. DETROIT — Police say a 23-year-old man died Saturday when he was trying to take apart his handgun and it discharged. The incident happened at 6:40 p.m. in Detroit.Police say that when they arrived the man was attempting to transport himself to a local hospital. The officer then applied a tourniquet to the victim's left leg. Witnesses on the scene detailed what occurred before officers arrived. The victim was then taken to the hospital where he later died. 472

Donald Stratton nearly made the ultimate sacrifice 79 years ago. Stratton was on board the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.According to the National Park Service, Stratton joined the Navy in 1940, and was assigned to the USS Arizona. On Dec. 7, 1941, Stratton was on the forward mast of the ship as it burned. A fellow sailor threw Stratton a line, which allowed Stratton to crawl to safety above the high water. But the flames took a toll on Stratton as burns covered 70% of his body. Stratton was then given a medical discharge the following September, but Stratton was not done serving his country. On Sunday, the U.S. National Park Service reported that Stratton has died at the age of 97, making him one of the last surviving service members from the Pearl Harbor attack. In Stratton's honor, the flags at the USS Arizona memorial in Hawaii were flown at half-staff. In January 1944, Stratton reenlisted and served through December 1946, obtaining the rank of Gunners Mate Second Class.The attack killed 2,390 service members, roughly half from the USS Arizona.
