BEIJING, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Top Chinese and Colombian legislators pledged to advance legislative cooperation and help boost exchanges and collaboration in other fields on Wednesday.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang made the announcement here on Tuesday.
Briefing the leaders on China's Belt and Road initiatives, including the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Silk Road Fund, Xi said there is much convergence between the development strategies of many countries and the initiatives. He suggested these countries cooperate with each other in pursuit of common development.
At the ongoing annual conference of the Eco Forum Global in Guiyang City, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, multinational heads have expressed the desire to further promote "green growth" with the government through ventures such as Public Private Partnership (PPP).
