A group of 50 attorneys general from 48 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico unveiled a major antitrust investigation of Google Monday, sharply escalating the regulatory scrutiny facing the tech giant.The probe will focus on whether Google has harmed competition and consumers, looking at least initially into the company's conduct in its search, advertising and other businesses, though it may expand from there.Speaking to reporters in front of the US Supreme Court Monday, a group of 13 attorneys general struck a bipartisan tone. A Fordham University student was critically injured Sunday after falling from a clock tower, according to a statement from the New York university.The student was climbing the tower about 3 a.m. Sunday when the fall occurred. The student, a senior, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, and the student's family was notified.According to the university, the student climbed the clock tower with some friends. The tower is off limits to students and university officials are investigating how the students gained access to the tower.The tower is the central part of Keating Hall on the university's Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. Built in the 1930s, the building's Gothic architecture has featured in several movies, including scenes in "The Exorcist" and "A Beautiful Mind." A Las Vegas woman who has been charged with murder in regards to an incident in which an elderly man was pushed off a public bus has been released on bail.Cadesha Bishop, 25, was released from jail on 0,000 bond on Wednesday. She's due back in court on May 23.Bishop was charged with murder earlier this week following the death of Serge Fournier. The 74 year old man died earlier this month after he was pushed off a public bus in Las Vegas on March 21.Fournier initially refused medical treatment but went to the hospital later that day. On May 3, police were notified that the man had died from his injuries. The coroner ruled his death was a result of the injuries he received from being pushed.Homicide detectives later determined that Fournier had died from injuries sustained after being pushed. 818

A Chicago house party devolved into chaos when a dispute led to the shootings of 13 people -- possibly at random, police said.The 13 victims range from 16 to about 48 years old, said Fred Waller, chief of the Chicago Police Bureau of Patrol.Four of the victims -- including the 16-year-old -- are hospitalized in critical condition.
