TAMPA, Fla. -- A child and three adults were taken to the hospital after a wreck involving a dump truck in Tampa Tuesday night.The Tampa Police Department responded to a call of a crash with critical injuries a little after 6:30 p.m. According to TPD, a vehicle traveling westbound on Hillsborough Avenue was crossing the median, hitting another car, and an SUV. Witnesses said on the scene that a small child was inside a parked car when it got hit by a dump truck that lost control. SUNNYVALE, Calif. – A United Parcel Service (UPS) worker was planning a mass shooting at the facility he worked at in California, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety. The department says it learned of the threat Sunday after receiving a report that 32-year-old Thomas Andrews had sent text messages to his employer, threatening the shooting. Officers began investigating and discovered Andrews was the registered owner of four handguns and rifle. Law enforcement then began an extensive search for him. At about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, the department says officers spotted Andrews and attempted to stop him, but he led them in a vehicle pursuit on a nearby highway.
