(KGTV) — Stark similarities between a San Francisco brewery's beer can and the iconic soft drink cups used at In-N-Out prompted the burger chain to issue a cease and desist letter, though not without some light-hearted humor.Seven Stills Brewing recently crafted a new Neapolitan-style beer called "In-N-Stout," wrapped in a design resembling the much-loved burger chain's cup featuring palm trees and its signature yellow arrow. The resemblance is uncanny. So much so that it forced the burger chain to respond with a letter, politely asking the brewery to ditch the can.RELATED: In-N-Out sues Smashburger over new 'Triple-Double' burgerThe brewery posted the pun-laden letter on Instagram, with the caption, "We count 9. Can you find them all?""Based on your use of our marks, we felt obligated to hop to action in order to prevent further issues from brewing," In-N-Out wrote. "We hope you appreciate, however, that we are attempting to clearly distill our rights by crafting an amicable approach with you, rather than barrel through this."We look forward to resolving this in good spirits," the letter ends.RELATED: In-N-Out continues customer loyalty winning streakThe brewery has since said they will repackage?the beer, though it will remain a Neapolitan-flavored stout. They'll also be serving In-N-Out to the first 100 guests on release day.  1388

(KGTV) - So much for "west coast is the best coast." Apparently, that state of mind won't help Californians enjoy the best quality of life in the U.S.Despite our pristine beaches, famous cities, and awesome nickname (The Golden State really is a great one), Californians reportedly enjoy one of the lowest qualities of life, according to U.S. News and World Report's annual "Best States" rankings. The study ranks states on a variety of metrics, including quality of life, opportunities for residents, education, healthcare, economy, infrastructure, crime and corrections, and fiscal stability.RELATED: AAA's top rated restaurants, hotels in San Diego CountyOk, it's starting to make a little sense. Metrics are weighted based on what more than 30,000 participants indicated as the most important aspects of livelihood. Healthcare and education were the heaviest scores, followed by economy, opportunity, and infrastructure.Overall, the Golden State came in at 32, though scored last in quality of life and near last in opportunity and fiscal stability."In addition to a healthy environment, a person's quality of life is largely a result of their interactions with those around them," U.S. News wrote. "Studies show that when people feel socially supported, they experience greater happiness, as well as physical and mental health."RELATED: Car insurance skyrocketing across San Diego metroSo what contributed to California's horribly low quality of life score? The state ranked 44 for natural environment and 47 for social environment.Natural environment measured drinking water quality, pollution and industrial toxins, and air quality. While drinking water quality was ranked 13, pollution health risks and urban air quality were among the worst states.Social environment looked at community engagement, social support, and voter participation. In this instance, California was toward the end of the line for each metric. To read U.S. News' entire report, click here. 1997

(KGTV) — President Donald Trump Saturday toured the destruction left behind by one of California's deadliest wildfires ever. The visit comes as the Camp Fire's death toll increased Friday, with authorities announcing 71 people have been killed and 1,011 people remain missing — though not everyone is believed to be missing. The Camp Fire ignited Nov. 8 and chewed through Northern California, virtually decimating the town of Paradise and ravaging nearby communities.RELATED: 497

“Fair Oaks Farms Dairy Adventure operators educate their guests that dairy cows on their farms enjoy comfort and relaxation due to their innovative carousel milking system. This couldn't be further from the truth. The Fair Oaks Farms and Fairlife adult cows live in sheer misery. Deprived of simple medical care, aid, and any form of compassion, the mother cows live sad, painful lives in the hands of Fairlife. Fairlife and the dairy industry are the last true concentration camps left on earth.” 505

(KGTV) - While Amazon customers have it fairly easy when it comes to returning items, the tech giant is only willing to go so far. Some Amazon customers have received emails notifying them they have been banned and cannot create a new account due to the number of returns they have made, according to the Wall Street Journal.Former Amazon managers told the WSJ they close accounts over activities including "requesting too many refunds" or "sending back the wrong items or violating other rules."RELATED: Ways to combat price hike for Amazon Prime"We have closed this account because you have consistently returned a large number of your orders. While we expect the occasional problem with an order, we cannot continue to accept returns at this rate," a 2015 email to an Amazon customer read.Others told the paper that Amazon asked them about their returns, despite providing a reason previously on the website. Some said they were not notified of the reasoning behind their canceled account until they reached out to a customer service representative.Amazon has yet to issue a statement regarding how it handles frequent returns. 1142
