SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A motorcyclist was hospitalized with several broken bones after crashing into a pickup truck that turned in front of him in the El Cerrito area of San Diego, authorities said.It was reported at 7:16 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of El Cajon Boulevard, said San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.The 29-year-old man was riding a Ducati motorcycle eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard when a 45-year-old man driving a Toyota Tacoma made a left turn in front of him while aiming for a private driveway, violating the motorcyclist's right of way, Heims said. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A man waiting for an Uber was stabbed in San Diego Sunday morning, according to San Diego police.At 2:08 a.m., a 37 year-old male was waiting for his Uber ride on the corner of 8th Avenue and B Street when he was approached by two female suspects and a male suspect, all in their 20s. The victim began talking to one of the women when she reached into his pocket and stole his cellphone. The suspects ran away and the victim chased them. After he caught up with them, the male suspect turned and jabbed the victim in the right arm.The victim began to bleed and witnessed the three suspects running away and getting into a red Chevy Camaro that fled westbound on B Street. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-threatening injuries.San Diego Police Central Division is investigation. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Officers found a man fatally wounded inside a vehicle in the Bay Terraces community of San Diego, a police lieutenant said Saturday.Officers discovered the vehicle off the road with no other vehicles around and it did not appear to have been involved in a traffic crash, San Diego Police Lt. Paul Conley said.Officers dispatched to the location a little before midnight in the 7000 block of Paradise Valley Road walked up to the vehicle and discovered a man behind the wheel suffering from a gunshot to the upper body, Conley said.Paramedics rushed the man to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries, he said.The San Diego Police Department's Homicide Unit asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 619-531-2293. 775

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A pair of thieves stole a safe and pistol-whipped a woman during a home-invasion robbery in the Jamacha-Lomita neighborhood, police said Tuesday.The robbery happened shortly before 5:10 p.m. Monday at a group home on Blackstone Court, a short, dead-end street off Meadowbrook Drive south of Jamacha Road, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.A man and a woman entered through the back door of the home, then began asking around for the manager of the home, Buttle said. When a 40-year-old woman told them the manager lived upstairs, the pair began looking around and the male suspect spotted a safe.The man picked up the safe and an altercation ensued, during which he pistol-whipped the 40-year-old victim, the officer said. The man then carried the safe outside to a black Ford Escape SUV.The pair of thieves were last seen in the Ford heading north on Meadowbrook Drive toward Jamacha Road, Buttle said.No detailed suspect descriptions were immediately available. 997
