BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming visits to Spain, Argentina, Panama and Portugal will intensify respective bilateral ties and G20 cooperation, senior Chinese officials said Friday.

China supports PNG in hosting the 26th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, the president said, adding that China is willing to work with all participating sides for the success of the meeting and inject fresh momentum into and make new contributions to the development of Asia-Pacific and world economy.

The Macao SAR government had improved the institutions and mechanisms for safeguarding national security, proactively taken part in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and in the Belt and Road Initiative, promoted the proper diversification of the economy, improved the livelihood of the people, and strengthened the disaster prevention and reduction system, winning the praise of the Macao society, Xi said.

"Ten years later, let us work with the same courage and strategic vision and ensure that the global economy grows on the right track," he said, putting forward a four-point proposal to the summit.

With frequent high-level exchanges and fruitful cooperation results, China-Singapore ties maintain positive momentum at present, Chen said.
