(CNS) - A teenage boy was fatally struck by a pickup truck while riding a skateboard on a residential road in the San Diego Country Estates neighborhood of Ramona, authorities said Wednesday.The fatality occurred around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday on Barona Mesa Road near La Plata Court, in a neighborhood south of San Vicente Road, California Highway Patrol Officer Jeff Christy said.Two teenage boys were riding skateboards to the east in the eastbound lane of Barona Mesa Road and another teen was riding a bicycle eastbound in the westbound lane, Christy said. He said that when a 20-year-old Ramona man driving a 2001 Ford F-150 eastbound on Barona Mesa Road came around a left-hand curve in the road, the front of the truck one of the boys, who was riding his skateboard in the middle of the eastbound lane.The driver stopped immediately and began rendering medical aid to the victim, the officer said. PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – Florida has recorded its youngest death from COVID-19, a 9-year-old girl.Kimora Lynum died last Saturday in Putnam County, a community located between Jacksonville and Orlando.Her family says Kimmie had no underlying health conditions when she developed a very high fever.Relatives say Kimmie was taken to the hospital for treatment, but was sent home. The child collapsed a short time later and died after her heart failed.Her family has no idea how or where Kimmie contracted coronavirus. Her grief-stricken mother says the child was healthy, stayed home all summer and she had no contact with anyone who had COVID-19.The 9-year-old is the fifth child in Florida to die from the virus. Rapper T.I. was arrested early Wednesday in Henry County, Georgia, outside Atlanta, according to authorities.The musician, whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested outside the gated community where he resides.The Henry County Sheriff's Office said T.I. was cited on misdemeanor charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an alleged incident about 4 a.m. in Stockbridge, south of Atlanta.According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. did not have his key and argued with a guard, who refused to let him in.He has since posted bond.In a statement provided to CNN, attorney Steve Sadow said T.I. was "wrongfully arrested early this morning when he attempted to gain entrance into his gated community -- where his wife 'Tiny' and his family reside.""The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse," Sadow said, using the rapper's nickname. "It took Tip some time to wake up the sleeping guard."Sadow said the rapper identified himself, was refused entry and then called his wife, singer Tameka "Tiny" Harris, who confirmed his identity."The guard continued to refuse entry without justification," the lawyer's statement said.
