Former Obama administration official and San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro said he is "likely" to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020."I'm likely to do it. I have a strong vision for the country. I believe that our country's going in the wrong direction and that it needs new leadership. For the first time in several weeks, weekly claims for unemployment benefits ticked up, according to statistics released by the Department of Labor.According to the weekly report, 1.4 million Americans sought initial unemployment claims last week. That's up from about 1.3 million the week before.Thursday's report marked the 18th straight week of more than 1 million unemployment claims. Former MLB players Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo have been killed in a car crash in Venezuela, according to multiple media reports.  The two were teammates on a winter ball team in Venezuela at the time of the crash on Thursday. Castillo was 37 at the time of his death and finished his career with the Houston Astros. Valbuena, 33, most recently played for the Los Angeles Angels and was a sought after free agent in this MLB offseason.Details on what led up to the crash have not yet been released.   547
