Chris Sharp said.There was no indication of foul play but there were injuries to the body, said Lt. Sharp.The Medical Examiner will try to identify the victim and conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.Bonita Cove is a busy area of Mission Bay. A recent study from HotPads, a Zillow-owned site, says San Diegans can pay ,270 per year in overlooked costs and fees that come with moving. The includes security and pet deposits, pet rent and parking. The biggest chunk comes from the security deposit, which is typically one month's rent. In all, it works out to an additional 6 per month. "As rent prices continue to rise and rent affordability remains a concern, it is important for renters to consider all their potential expenses before planning a move," said Joshua Clark, economist at HotPads. She says some buildings even require tenants hire move-in coordinators to make sure things go smoothly and not disturb other residents. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for an at-risk missing man who disappeared from downtown Saturday morning. According to police, 57-year-old William Groves was last seen at the corner of 7th Avenue and A street around 10:25 a.m. Saturday. Groves suffers from seizures and has short-term memory loss due to a traumatic brain injury. Police say Groves is also a dependent adult with no money or medication and is visiting San Diego from Hawaii with his mother. According to police, Groves is known to be friendly and talkative. He is described as five feet, five inches tall with brown eyes, gray and black hair and light skin. Groves was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt with checkered shorts and a black eye patch. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Safe Walkways, a group of San Diegans concerned over the misuse of motorized scooters, submitted proposals to the Mayor Kevin Faulconer's office Tuesday.They’re asking for stricter enforcement when it comes to use of motorized scoots on sidewalks and walkways.“It’s dangerous for the people who ride them,” said Dr. Jonathan Freeman, who submitted the proposals. “The riders try to avoid riding on the road, so they ride on sidewalks and walkways like this, and they put pedestrians in danger.”Safe Walkways has launched its NOW campaign, which stands for “Not On Walkways”. The group is asking the city to require companies that own the scooters, and the riders to obey laws or face penalties.They want companies to require scooter users to provide an image of a unique valid driver license to open a user account.They say if terms aren’t met, they want the city to make sure the company loses its rights to operate in San Diego.Freeman said walkers and people with disabilities have been greatly affected by the use of scooters on sidewalks and other walkways.Right now, police can ticket people who ride scooters in banned areas, like sidewalks, but Freeman said that hasn’t stopped many people from doing it.Other San Diegans say the scooters have helped tremendously when it comes to getting around town efficiently.It’s unclear if the city will enforce new rules in response to the proposal.Below is the list of proposals sent to the Mayor’s office by the group.THE SAFE WALKWAYS PROPOSALS FOR TERMS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE CITY’S PROPOSED REVOCABLE PERMITTING AGREEMENT GOVERNING MOTORIZED SCOOTER RENTAL COMPANIES SUBMITTED TO THE MAYOR OF SAN DIEGO ON JANUARY 2ND. 2019.The Mayor proposes that rental motorized vehicle companies sign a revocable permitting agreement setting out terms to be met. ?
