She added that "we want to own the healthy kitchen" and "make healthy cooking accessible to everyone."That strategy is clearly working. The company has attracted more men lately because of the new Freestyle offering. Actor and writer Kevin Smith, celebrity chef Eric Greenspan and music mogul DJ Khaled are all endorsing Weight Watchers.But as the stock price of Weight Watchers has climbed, Winfrey has actually taken some of her Weight Watchers chips off the table recently.She still owns nearly 5.5 million shares. But she sold about 2 million in March at prices ranging from about to a share. One of the fiercest rivalries in sport -- the New York Yankees versus the Boston Red Sox -- is on the move and heading to London as Major League Baseball flies across the Atlantic to broaden its global reach.MLB announced Tuesday that the Yankees and Red Sox will play two regular-season games at the London Stadium -- which played host to the athletics and opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympics -- on June 29 and 30, 2019.The Red Sox will be the home team for the two-game series, the first MLB games to be played in Europe.But it will not be the first time regular-season MLB matches will have been played outside the US, with ties already having been staged in Mexico, Japan, Puerto Rico and Australia.It has already been announced that Oakland and Seattle will play next season's opener at the Tokyo Dome on March 20-21.As part of the two-year deal another series will be played in London in 2020. The participating teams have yet to be announced.Baseball commissioner Robert Manfred described the plan as "our most significant endeavor in Europe," while Tony Clark, executive director of the players' association, MLBPA, said fans should expect intense competition."Some of the most talented and dynamic players in the world will be playing in these games," he said at a news conference in London."They are excited about the chance to meet new fans, and showcase the game they love. One group is putting a unique twist on storytime, with the hopes of inspiring inclusion.The Salami Sisters don’t usually perform during the day. With full hair, makeup and dresses, the two started reading to children about six months ago at libraries.The stories read have themes about love, compassion and inclusion.The program is called Drag Queen Story Hour.Jonathan Hamilt brought the program to New York from San Francisco, and it has spread across the country.“It's one of the most attended story hours of our libraries,” says Hamilt. “Every time we go to a branch, librarians are like, ‘Wow! This has exceeded the number of any other program that we've had.’”As you might expect, Hamilt says the children come with questions, asking about their hair and real name.Some questions are more challenging than others.“Are you a boy or are you a girl? Why do you have a man's voice or why do you wear a dress?” says Hamilt of the questions the children ask.Hamilt says every answer and every story furthers their mission to instill tolerance and acceptance of everyone, and it's a message the parents are embracing.“I think it's very important to have diversity in kids programming, especially since a lot of drag shows aren't super kid-friendly,” says parent Maggie Beaumont.“Everybody accepts diversity, and I want my kid to experience it,” says another parent, Tomoko Shiina. “But at the same time, I'm also empowered by the atmosphere, as a parent and as a woman, as a person.”The Drag Queen Story Hour is not only a new perspective of storytime, but for many, it’s creating a new perspective of the world beyond it. 1644

Officers in New Jersey broke up a large house party in New Jersey with hundreds of people in attendance, authorities said.Police responded to a residence along Mill Pond Road in Jackson following a report of a suspicious incident around 8:30 p.m., according to Jackson Police Department.Officers arrived and spoke with several neighbors who said a house on the street was rented out to a group that was having a large party, causing a disturbance.Police contacted the homeowner, who said he had rented out the residence on Airbnb.The party expanded to about 700 people in attendance, with over 100 vehicles parked in the area, according to police.Officers began clearing the crowd from the residence and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office was contacted and authorized charges against the homeowner and party organizer for violating the state’s executive order in reference to the number of attendees allowed at a gathering.Officers from the Freehold Police Department, Howell Police Department, Lakewood Police Department, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, and New Jersey State Police also responded to assist and clear the large crowd from the residence and direct traffic as people left the area, according to authorities.During that time, police also received a call from a resident nearby reporting people who attended the party had broken into their residence and were damaging property.An investigation determined a family member of the caller was at the original party and had invited a large group back to their residence. The group was then dispersed, police said.It took until 1 a.m. for the officers to clear the residences of partygoers and all the vehicles from the neighborhood.The homeowner, later identified as 40-year-old Yaakov Weiss and the party organizers, 23-year-old Patience Guanue and 22-year-old Alicia Hinneh, were issued summonses.Gov. On Thursday, Facebook said it would not accept new political ads in the week leading up to the 2020 election in an effort to protect the integrity of U.S. elections.Facebook also announced Thursday that the platform would remove any posts that "claim people will get COVID-19 if they take part in voting," and will add more information to any posts that attempt to suppress the vote with the threat of the virus.In addition, the company will add more information to posts that attempt to "delegitimize" the outcome of the election or "discuss" the legitimacy of voting methods.Finally, Facebook said it would add more information to posts from political candidates that attempt to claim victory before final results are tallied. The company says it will rely on "official results from Reuters and the National Election Pool."Facebook faced criticism for neglecting to combat the spread of disinformation prior to the 2016 election.
