(CNS) - Police Monday announced the arrest of a 47-year-old parolee accused in the shooting deaths of three men during a fight at a bowling alley in Torrance.The arrest of Reginald Wallace of Los Angeles, who had been on parole since 2017 following a conviction for assault with a deadly weapon involving a firearm, was announced by Torrance police Chief Eve Irvine at a Monday afternoon news conference at police headquarters.Wallace was arrested early Sunday and was being held without bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, according to sheriff's inmate records. Officers responded to a shots-fired call just before midnight Friday at Gable House Bowl, 22501 Hawthorne Blvd. Three men were pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. Two other men sought medical attention on their own.Irvine said a fight involving a few people grew into a brawl involving as many as 15. At some point, Wallace pulled a handgun from his pocket and fired into the crowd, Irvine alleged, adding that he was believed to have been the only shooter.Witness Dana Scott previously told reporters that a group of women got into a fight inside the building, then some men got involved. About a minute later, gunshots erupted, Scott said.Another witness, who refused to give his name, said a fight erupted and he heard nine gunshots.Wes Hamad, a 29-year-old Torrance resident, said he saw a ``huge fight'' break out that lasted about five minutes, blocked the entrance of the bowling alley and devolved into ``complete chaos.''``I grabbed my niece and started running toward the far end of the bowling alley,'' he said. ``As we were running, we heard 15 shots.'' The key word there is reasonable.“The problem with what's going on right now and some of the things that have been going around the internet, is that the advice, kind of spurious advice that's being put forth is to use the provision for reasonable accommodation as a sword rather than as a shield,” said David Tarrien, an associate professor at WMU-Cooley Law School.Tarrien says the conditions that qualify as a mask exemption have a smaller scope than many realize. For example, he says asthma patients likely do not fall under that scope. But later stages of pulmonary respiratory disease, emphysema, or a serious mobility issue can be "legitimate" reasons.Furthermore, you could face repercussions for lying.“If they're claiming that they have a disability and they don't have a disability, if that is found out, then there are criminal and civil penalties for that,” said Tarrien.As for privacy concerns, Tarrien says store employees are allowed to ask customers why they're not wearing a mask. If you refuse to answer, they may refuse entry.Even if you give a legitimate reason to not wear a mask, you may still be refused entry. That's because the ADA does not apply if there's a “direct threat” to someone's health or safety.Tarrien says HIPPA privacy laws also do not apply in this kind of situation. A visionary who failed to yield to the influence of others as he remained devoted to his creative vision, he often drove away those who he relied on. He also exploited his fame to indulge in romance and power fantasies with young fans.Kricfalusi opens up in a shockingly candid manner, apologizing for some of his decisions while doubling down on others. What emerges is a complete, complex portrait of a troubled man who started from nothing, had it all and then lost just about everything. The series aired from 1991 to 1995 on Nickelodeon, then came back in a brief, adult-themed incarnation in 2003. Kricfalusi has now lost most of his creative relevance, and apparently, also his drive.While "Ren & Stimpy" superfans will get the most out of the documentary, it also makes for a fascinating ride for anyone with a passing interest in the evolving form of animation. This weekend marks the official astronomical beginning of summer, and it will also feature a solar eclipse creating a rare “ring of fire”. Set your alarm and watch this unique event online.Around 2:30 a.m. EDT on Sunday, the moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, causing an annular solar eclipse to be seen from parts of Africa, southern Europe and Asia.Given the orbital position of the Moon and Earth right now, the eclipse at its peak will show a bright ring of light around the moon, which some call a “ring of fire”. The Latin word “annulus” means ring, this is why it is called an annular solar eclipse when there is a ring of sunlight around the moon.The best viewing for this astronomical event will be along a narrow strip from Africa through India to the Pacific Ocean.
