BEIJING, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry left Beijing on Saturday afternoon, ending a two-day visit to China.
Xi suggested the two sides set up joint ventures on research and development, investment, production, and to develop third-country markets to inject new momentum into traditional cooperation in nuclear energy, aviation and other sectors, as well as open up new areas of cooperation, such as agriculture, finance, sustainable urban development, medicine and health care, and marine resources.
President Xi is to attend the third NSS at the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, Qin said.
Hailing the ICC's role in promoting international trade and world economic recovery, he said China has introduced lots of financial and trade rules and practices from the organization since China's accession in 1994, a policy which has helped to improve the business environment in China and made Chinese enterprises more internationalized.
Xi is the first Chinese president to visit the Netherlands since the two states established diplomatic relations in 1972. He will meet King Willem-Alexander and parliamentary leaders, and hold talks with Prime Minister Mark Rutte. The two sides will sign cooperation agreements on agriculture, energy, finance and culture.
