A Glendale, Arizona mother has been arrested after reportedly leaving her toddler in a car for 90 minutes while she went shopping. Glendale police report that around 9 p.m. Monday, they were called to a shopping plaza at 91st and Northern avenues. Witnesses reported to police that there was a toddler in a car with no adult around. Police found the 2-year-old boy, "crying, dirty and covered in urine." The child's mother, 19-year-old Dakota Cheyanne Brown, was located in a nearby store. She allegedly told police that she was in the store for about 45 minutes and was checking on him by looking out the store window. Police say the car windows were darkly tinted and they couldn't see inside, even from a few feet away. Store employees allegedly told police that Brown was in the store for about 90 minutes. Store surveillance video reportedly shows that Brown never left the store to check on her son. Brown was arrested for endangerment and child abuse. 1011

A man picking up passersby flagging him and his buggy down for a ride is calling his service "Amish Uber."The service is not affiliated with the actual Uber ride-sharing service, but it has been popular in the town of Colon, Michigan, where driver Timothy Hochstedler is using a horse and buggy to cart folks around.Hochstedler has a sign on his buggy that says each ride is and he was offering rides during the town's recent  81st annual Abbott's Magic Get Together festival.WWMT television station talked with people who paid for rises in the buggy, and they said the experience was unique and fun. 626

A lock of Abraham Lincoln’s hair, wrapped in a bloodstained telegram about his 1865 assassination, is up for sale. Boston-based RR Auction says bidding has opened online for the items ahead of a live auction scheduled for Sept. 12. Measuring roughly 2 inches long, the bushy lock of hair was removed during Lincoln’s postmortem examination after he was fatally shot at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C., by John Wilkes Booth. A bus carrying 50 people overturned in northern Mississippi on Wednesday afternoon, killing two on board, ABC News reported citing a local coroner. According to ABC News, heavy sleet coated roadways in the area, which may have been a factor in Wednesday's accident. Interstate 269 was closed in both directions near the site of the crash. WREG-TV reported that 46 people were on board the bus at the time of the accident. The bus was chartered in a route from Huntsville, Alabama to Tunica, Mississippi. 531

A Cirque du Soleil performer who fell Saturday night during a performance in Tampa has died, a Tampa General Hospital spokeswoman said. The acrobat who died has been identified as Yann Arnaud, according to a statement released by Cirque de Soleil's Volta."It is with immense sadness that Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group reports that a tragic accident occurred last night, March 17, during a performance of its show VOLTA, in Tampa, Florida," the statement began. Arnaud, a longtime aerialist, was performing "the aerial straps number" when he fell onto the stage, according to the Cirque du Soleil statement. First responders moved in quickly to administer medical aid. Arnaud was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he later died of his injuries. "The entire Cirque du Soleil family is in shock and devastated by this tragedy. Yann had been with us for over 15 years and was loved by all who had the chance to know him.
