A group that raised millions of dollars in a GoFundMe campaign says it has broken ground on a project to build its own stretch of border wall on private property.We Build the Wall, a group founded by a triple amputee Air Force veteran, said in a series of social media posts on Monday that it had started construction on private property in New Mexico. The announcement comes months after the group began its GoFundMe campaign to raise private donations for a border wall, and days after a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump from tapping into billions in Defense Department funds for his administration's wall construction efforts."Buckle up, we're just getting started!" the group wrote in a Facebook post, sharing what it said were images of construction over the weekend.On Monday evening, a CNN team watched as heavy machinery rumbled over the site near the New Mexico-Texas state line near El Paso. A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Puerto Rico before dawn on Tuesday, killing one man, injuring at least eight other people and collapsing buildings in the southern part of the island. The quake was followed by a series of strong aftershocks, part of a 10-day series of temblors spawned by the grinding of tectonic plates along three faults beneath southern Puerto Rico. Seismologists say it's impossible to predict when the quakes will stop. The 6.4-magnitude quake cut power as power plants shut down to protect themselves. Authorities said two plants suffered light damage and they expected power to be restored later Tuesday. It was the second straight day in which a signifcant quake struck the island. On Monday, a 5.8 magnitude quake shook the island, causing minor damage.Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vazquez signed a series of executive orders Tuesday declaring a state of emergency on the island and activating the National Guard.The Associated Press reports that a 73-year-old man was killed when a wall in his home collapsed on top of him. Eight other people were injured in the city of Ponce, according to WAPA-TV in Puerto Rico.A tsunami alert was issued in the moments after the earthquake but was quickly canceled.The earthquakes on Tuesday came just a day after a 5.8-magnitude quake collapsed five homes on the south side of the island. The Phoenix Police Department released video Wednesday of a frightening moment involving a red-light runner and a family crossing the street with a stroller. Police say the incident happened on October 14, around 10 p.m.Watch video of the incident in the player above. Police say the driver who ran the red-light, 23-year-old Ernesto Otanez Oveso, was driving under the influence at the time. The driver with the right-of-way in the crash was injured, but the injuries were not life-threatening. After the crash, police say Oveso fled the scene along with a female passenger. Oveso allegedly told a witness that was following him to get away, and stabbed the car door of the witness.Oveso has been arrested and faces charges for DUI, aggravated assault and prohibited possession after a gun was found in his Jeep. Doctors at CS Mott Children's Hospital told the family it was time to say goodbye. However, they went to court to get more time to find a new facility to take him. On Wednesday the family said a doctor at Allegiant Health Care of Phoenix had agreed to accept him for treatment.However, the family's attorney now says the doctor did not have the approval of administrators of Allegiant and they have disagreed with his decision.
