ALGIERS, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese top political adviser Yu Zhengsheng said the legislative bodies of China and Algeria will promote their exchanges and work together to boost the China- Algeria bilateral cooperation.
"China never allows any foreign country or individual to carry out cyber attacks from Chinese soil or by using Chinese facilities. Such behavior, if discovered, will be dealt with severely in accordance with law," Hua said.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said it is an important platform for the three countries to strengthen communication and cooperation on regional affairs.
The NPC Standing Committee dropped the death penalty for 13 economic-related non-violent crimes including smuggling cultural relics, gold and silver; carrying out fraudulent activities related to financial bills; forging or selling forged exclusive value-added tax invoices; teaching criminal methods; and robbing ancient cultural ruins.
The two countries made the pledges in a joint declaration issued during Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Italy.
