The more he dug into the service, the angrier he became.               Keeping his windows clean is key for Larry Koenigsberg, considering he has amazing views from his home a hilltop community in Boulder."I can see a panoramic of the Flatirons, Pike's Peak when the sun rises in the morning," said Koenigsberg. "It’s like being on vacation every day between Colorado's 300 days of sunshine a year."Using popular online service Thumbtack, he hired Top Window Cleaning and paid the owner to clean several large windows, a skylight and a shower door. It wasn’t until the next day he realized they were damaged."The sun came shining in through all the south-facing windows, and I see all these scratches and I go outside and they're still dirty," said Koenigsberg.KMGH reached out to the owner of the window cleaning service. His attorney said no comment.Koenigsberg said that the owner of the company and the only employee came back to clean them again, hoping it was only dirt."So severe, it looked like a prism with all the blue and orange. Very deep the scratches," said Koenigsberg.After confronting the man, Koenigsberg said he only got another bill, not an apology. He went online to several sites to share his experience."I wanted a way of venting and letting other people know, and I put my review on there, but also I indicated that his intentions were good. I don't think that anybody sets out with intentions to scratch windows," said Koenigsberg.Koenigsberg said he learned Top Window Cleaning is not licensed in Colorado and the owner has a criminal history. BRISTOL, Wis. -- For a fruit farmer who knew little about growing flowers, the pandemic was the perfect nudge to try something new. So, he plowed over his strawberry fields to plant a patch of sunshine and it’s grown beyond his wildest dreams.Scott Thompson’s family has been farming strawberries in Bristol, Wisconsin, for generations.“We've been around for a just about 100 years.”As the general manager of Thompson Strawberry Farms, he says they’ve adapted over time starting with apples and strawberries at first.“We've kind of morphed over the years where we have raspberries and pumpkins as well.”But this year, the pick-your-own farm traded the sweet fruits for something more picturesque.“This year is our first crack at pick your own sunflowers,” said Thompson.Even though Thompson knew very little about the bright yellow flower, he started out slow, until the pandemic hit and then had a thought.“This might be something that people might be really interested in. And so, I started planting. I did a small four-acre field then another four acres, then 10 acres. So, it just kind of grew, grew, grew.”He ended up planting not hundreds or thousands, but 2.2 million sunflower seeds across 22 acres of fields.“Having sunflowers is cool, but having a lot of sunflowers, that's really cool,” he said.For visitors like Sarah Akers and her 2-year-old son Xavier, it’s an eye-popping treat.“When they said how big it was, this is not what I was expecting,” said Akers. “It definitely is more impressive than what it sounds like when you just read about it.”It’s also a paradise for pollinators. Bees buzz from flower to flower. And with 15 fields, Thompson says it’s a great outing during the pandemic.“It's a perfectly natural social distancing activity,” said Thompson.The massive blooms have attracted visitors from all over the country. Debbie Berdinski, visiting from Alabama, was enthralled.“I love it. I think it's beautiful,” she said.And the decision to swap out strawberries for sunflowers has unexpectedly turned Thompson’s farm into his very own golden field of dreams.“You could really just go out and have a fun time and kind of forget about reality for a little bit,” he said. “Just enjoy being out here in this sea of yellow flowers.”And in a year like 2020, a little sunshine goes a long way. 2320

BEACH LAKE, Pa. – It may look like a regular house from the outside, but inside Meghan Buselli’s bustling home, one room looks just like a regular classroom.“I have Landon who's eight, Sawyer who's six and Levi who's five and then I have two little girls that I fit in there somehow,” said the mom of five, who has a college degree in elementary education.It’s a degree she initially thought she would use by going back to teach in the classroom. However, when the time came for her oldest child to go to school, she had second thoughts.“The age of five came super fast, quicker than I thought,” she said, “and I wasn't ready to let go of our time.”So, she decided to home-school her children instead. It’s a decision that – at the time – she had no idea would end up attracting attention from around the country.“I think parents thought that, you know, we need to think of different options for our children,” Buselli said.That is how, through social media, she ended up in the role of home-schooling helper to parents looking to do the same, in the wake of COVID-19.“They say, ‘Oh, well, I don't have a degree in that,’ and I say, ‘You know what? Think of your grandmother's favorite recipe that you use year after year. Did she go to culinary school?
