Home listings in more cities will no longer use the word "master" to describe large bedrooms and bathrooms.In June, the Houston Association of Realtors decided to instead use the word “primary” to describe the largest bedroom or bathroom in a home listing.The association, HAR for short, updated listings on the website through mid-June. In a statement, the organization said the change has been “raised and considered for many years” and was one of nine requests submitted from HAR members for discussion at recent meetings about updating MLS listings. Other requests included things like electric vehicle charging stations and balcony details.“The overarching message was that some members were concerned about how the terms might be perceived by some other agents and consumers. Based on the discussion that took place, more members viewed the terms as sexist than racist, although some did view them as racist,” the statement said. “The origin of the terms is debated, and we are not saying they are rooted in slavery.”The word “master” is not banned within the organization and members, only in their online listings. Realtors may choose to use “master” on their own materials selling a home.HAR told members the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development has already advised that use of the term “master bedroom” or “master bathroom” is not discriminatory and does not violate Fair Housing laws.Some builders have already dropped the term years ago, HAR said. Hackers who infiltrated the Twitter accounts of several high-profile politicians and industry titans over the summer posed as members of the Twitter IT department in order to steal the credentials of employees with high-security clearance, New York's Department of Financial Services says.On July 15, dozens of high-profile Twitter accounts — including those belonging to Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Jeff Bezos — were hacked and posted messages directing followers to give away bitcoin in a targeted scam. According to the DFS, hackers made off with about 8,000 in bitcoin.In the days following the hacking, Twitter said it believed that the scam was engineered by a "coordinated social engineering attack by people who successfully targeted some of our employees with access to internal systems and tools." In its report, published Thursday, DFS confirmed that was the case.According to DFS, the scheme began on July 14, when at least one of the hackers called Twitter employees posing as members of Twitter's IT desk. Twitter employees have been working from home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the company has often experienced issues with its Virtual Private Network. Seizing on that vulnerability, the hackers told the employees they needed to check on the VPN and directed employees to a phishing website that looked "identical" to Twitter's IT page.When the employees with advanced access entered their username and password, that information was immediately sent to the hackers.The next day, the hackers carried out their high-profile bitcoin scheme, which alerted Twitter to the hack and caused disruptions on the site for several hours. However, before carrying out the bitcoin scheme, the hackers also took control of so-called "OG" Twitter accounts — valuable account names designated by a single word, letter or number. If login credentials of those accounts are stolen, such they can be sold for thousands of dollars.In all, DFS says 130 Twitter accounts were hacked, and the suspects sent tweets from 45 of those accounts.The DFS said the hacking represented severe flaws in Twitter's security systems, which could have dire consequences."In the hands of a dangerous adversary, the same access obtained by the Hackers–the ability to take control of any Twitter users’ account–could cause even greater harm," the agency said. 2351

GLENDALE, AZ — It's official: The San Francisco 49ers will play their next two home games in Arizona after local COVID-19 restrictions prevented them from playing at their home field."The San Francisco 49ers have come to an agreement with the National Football League and Arizona Cardinals which allows the 49ers to host their Weeks 13 and 14 home games against the Buffalo Bills and Washington Football Team at State Farm Stadium in Arizona," the 49ers said Monday in a statement.Over the weekend, California's Santa Clara County announced a number of new COVID-19 restrictions, which banned all sports — professional, collegiate, and youth — and required people to quarantine for two weeks if they traveled 150 miles away.Levi's Stadium, home to the 49ers, is located in Santa Clara County."The Cardinals organization, State Farm Stadium and League officials have been supportive and accommodating as we work through the many logistical issues involved in relocating NFL games," the Arizona Cardinals said in a statement.The Cardinals will host the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 6. HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Several dogs were found dead in a Hernando County, Florida home that neighbors say no one has lived in since Hurricane Irma.Neighbors are furious now knowing they were living next to a home where dogs were suffering inside. "I don’t know how any human could do that," said neighbor Patt Pierce. Pierce said on Tuesday, a construction crew working nearby notified her of a dead dog visible through the window of her neighbor’s home."Our houses are far enough apart where we can’t hear inside the home," said Pierce. Neighbors tell Scripps station WFTS in Tampa that no one has lived in the home since they saw a truck moving furniture out the week before Hurricane Irma. They believe the dogs were abandoned in the home with no food or water."They did not die easy. Imagine being in that home and starving to dead and those animals one by one dropping, she needs to go to jail." said neighbor Chris Kirby, referring to the homeowner. WFTS contacted the homeowner’s attorney who tells us his client, who prefers to go by the name Wendy Lauren Kopp, was letting a man live in the home and he is the one who left the dogs there. The attorney also tells us his client is cooperating with authorities and is not a suspect in the case.The sheriff’s office said the dogs were so decomposed, they haven't been able to accurately count how many are in there. They say their investigation is still ongoing and have not yet announced suspects in the case. Neighbors, however, say they are still heartbroken and wish they could've done more. "For this to happen, all of us are carrying a little guilt like we could’ve done more. We could’ve broke in we could’ve kept calling," said Kirby. "We have a no kill shelter. We have rescue groups. We have someone in the community that would take the dogs," said Pierce.  1902
