Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will remain in his home state of Delaware on Wednesday while President Donald Trump continues full speed ahead with his busy rally schedule.Trump will court voters in two western swing states on Wednesday — Nevada and Arizona. The President will appear at a rally in Bullhead City, Arizona — a city located at the border of Nevada's southern tip — at 3 p.m. ET. He'll later head to the Phoenix area and hold a rally in Goodyear at 5:45 p.m. ET.Trump carried Arizona by a 48% to 44% margin in 2016, but recent polls show voters are leaning toward Biden this year.Nevada went for former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton in the last presidential election and broke for President Barack Obama in 2012. Biden is also favored to take the state in 2020.Biden remained in his home state of Delaware on Wednesday and received a briefing from public health experts regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. During remarks following the briefing, Biden urged all Americans to continue wearing masks, calling it "patriotic" and "not political." Biden also criticized the Trump administration's handling of the pandemic, hitting the President on everything from his health care plan to recent comments from administration officials."We've lost more than 220,000 lives of this virus already. But this administration has just given up," Biden said. "Over the weekend, the White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, went on television and admitted that they've waived the white flag and declared surrender. He said, quote, 'we're not going to control the pandemic.' The American people deserve so much better than this."Trump often hits on Biden for "hiding" from the media and avoiding large rallies. Biden has been less visible than the President and held fewer rallies, and has instead opted for more speeches and remarks designed for a national TV audience.With election day six days away, Americans have been voting early at a record pace. Death row inmate, 61-year-old David Earl Miller will be executed tonight by the electric chair at 7 p.m. tonight.Miller is the second Tennessee death row inmate in just over a month to choose to die by the electric chair. His attorneys argued that the state's lethal injection method causes a prolonged and torturous death.Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam declined Miller's clemency application, in which his attorney claimed Miller had been suffering from “severe mental illness” at the time of his crime, and that his mental state places him “far outside that group of offenders who are the worst and for whom the death penalty is reserved.”Miller is also asking the U.S. Supreme Court to issue a stay of execution to address two separate legal issues. The high court declined to issue stays for either of the two other inmates executed this year.The inmate was moved to death watch Wednesday and served his requested last meal Thursday afternoon.Miller was convicted of killing 23-year-old Lee Standifer, who was mentally disabled, in Knoxville in 1981.A man Miller was living with found Standifer's body naked in the yard with her hands bound and roped wrapped around her body. DENVER, Colorado – The man suspected of killing his wife and two daughters last week is likely to be formally charged today by Weld County prosecutors.The district attorney’s office has until 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time today to file formal charges against 33-year-old Chris Watts in the case. He was arrested late last Wednesday for investigation of first-degree murder and tampering with deceased body charges and has been held without bond.His pregnant wife and daughters, 34-year-old Shanann Watts, 3-year-old Celeste and 4-year-old Bella, were reported missing last Monday by a family friend after Shanann missed a doctor’s appointment.A day after the three were reported missing, Chris Watts gave an interview to KMGH television station in which he pleaded for the girls to come home and said he and his wife “had an emotional conversation” before he allegedly last saw her. Watts confessed to killing the three of them, two law enforcement sources told Denver7 last week.Shanann’s body was discovered in a field on Anadarko Petroleum Company property. Court documents show her body was found in a "shallow grave near an oil tank." Her daughter’s bodies were discovered concealed within oil tanks nearby, sources told KMGH television station. Court documents filed late last week show experts were advised the bodies were in tanks filled with crude oil "for several days." Chris Watts had been an Anadarko employee but was fired by the company Wednesday.On Friday, the coroner's office announced they had positively identified the bodies as those of Shanann Watts and her two daughters. The manner and cause of death of all three bodies are pending further laboratory results and have not been released at this time.A court motion filed by Watts’ defense attorneys late last week suggested the girls were possibly strangled. In the motion, the attorneys had asked a judge to compel the coroner to take DNA swabs from the necks and throats of the two girls, though the judge dismissed the motion. A judge also denied a request from the defense to allow an expert to be present at autopsies.Weld County prosecutors said in court last week they believed the two girls and their mother were killed inside the home but did not elaborate. Frederick police said Friday they still had several days of interviews to complete before Monday's deadline.The case has been sealed since late last Wednesday while the police investigation continued. DEL MAR (CNS) - Hall of Fame Thoroughbred horse trainer Gary Jones died at his Del Mar home at the age of 76, it was announced today.Jones, whose career accomplishments included earning more than million in purses and 1,465 race victories, died Sunday following a lengthy illness. His son Marty, also a trainer, told the Thoroughbred Daily News that his father had been in hospice care and died of natural causes.The son of legendary trainer Farrell ``Wild Horse'' Jones took over his father's stable in 1974 and trained 104 stakes winners over the next 22 years.Jones won 15 race meet titles, including four at Santa Anita in Arcadia, where he set a record with 47 wins in 1976, ranks eighth all-time in Winter/Spring wins with 576 victories, and ninth all-time in stakes won with 72.Notable horses under his training include Turkoman, an Eclipse Award winner named Champion Older Male in 1986, and Best Pal, the winner of the first Pacific Classic at Del Mar in 1991, as well as the Hollywood Gold Cup and Santa Anita Handicap.Thoroughbred Daily News reported that heart problems led to Jones' retirement in 1996.He was elected to the United States Racing Hall of Fame in 2014. Dane Cummings, a waste management garbage collector, was on his route Thursday morning when he was told to evacuate. But he continued on his route in order to make sure people he knew got out safely.One of those people was his friend, 93-year-old Margaret Newsum. She hadn’t evacuated yet, because she was unaware how rapidly the Camp fire was moving toward her home in Biggs, California.“The fire was wiping the town of Paradise,” Newsum says. “It was moving so fast that people were moving out and leaving everything behind.”Soon, the power was off, and phones weren’t working.  “There was nobody I could call,” she says. “Nobody was there; they were all gone.”Well, almost everyone.“I knew my fear was over with when I saw him in that truck,” Newsum says. “And I knew when he says, ‘You’re going with me’ that he meant it, and I didn’t argue with him.”Cummings strapped Newsum’s walker to the truck and carried her to his truck. Then, the pair embarked on a 5-hour drive unlike anything they’ve ever experienced.“The smoke, you thought you were stepping in to hell. It was jet black, and you could see it dropping down on the highway. He said, ‘That’s hell. We’re going to hell.’ And I said, No, we’re gonna make it.  Just keep going!”The experience has made the two closer than ever.“He’s an angel.
