During Thanksgiving weekend in 2003, President George W. Bush wanted to spend part of the holiday with active service members in Iraq. It took an immense amount of planning by a very small, trusted group around the President to make sure Bush would make it back to the United States safely. The mission for Bush to secretly land in Iraq came just months after a joint coalition of nations, including the United States, overthrew the regime of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.Making the covert trek to the Middle East has since been copied by President Barack Obama, and on Wednesday, President Donald Trump. For Bush’s mission, it was not until after Air Force One was in the sky that the public was notified. Bush had to sneak out of his Crawford, Texas, ranch and fly to Washington, D.C. to get on Air Force One, which was disguised as a civilian jet. As the plane neared Iraq, all the lights went out inside Air Force One, and the window shades were lowered. At 5:30 p.m. Baghdad time, Air Force One had landed in Iraq. Bush had two and a half hours to meet with nearly 600 troops celebrating Thanksgiving before he had to be back in the air. Bush told reporters that had any word of the visit leaked, he would have had to turn around. "I was fully prepared to turn this baby around and come home," he said. "Three hours out, I checked with our Secret Service and checked with the people on the ground. They assured me that we still had a tight hold on the information."On Wednesday, Trump made his first visit to a combat zone, meeting with troops in Iraq. Trump said from Baghdad he was concerned about the safety of those accompanying him to Iraq. “I had concerns about the institution of the presidency,” Trump said. “Not for myself personally. I had concerns for the First Lady, I will tell you. But if you would have seen what we had to go through with the darkened plane with all windows closed with no lights on whatsoever, anywhere. Pitch black. I've never seen it- I've been on many airplanes. All types and shapes and sizes. I've never seen anything like it.”Despite the secrecy that went into Trump’s voyage, there were rumors circulating on social media involving a possible Trump visit to the Middle East. While Bush’s visit did not have to content with rumors via Twitter, some on the social media platform reported sightings of Air Force One over Europe. Now, I'm not saying Trump is currently heading to the Middle East to visit troops. BUT...There's been some interesting aircraft movements the last couple of days. Some I've already tweeted... And a VC-25A has been reported over the UK earlier today. Watch this space! ??— CivMilAir ??????? (@CivMilAir) 2685

Carl's Jr. is testing out a cannabis burger to stay at the forefront of the CBD trend. The chain said on Wednesday that it will sell the Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight burger at one location in Denver, Colorado for just one day (April 20th, of course). The burger features a sauce infused with CBD, or cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive hemp derivative.Though the promotion is limited, it's not a stunt. The burger chain is using the test to determine whether a CBD burger belongs on its permanent menu, said Patty Trevino, senior vice president of brand marketing for Carl's Jr."It is something that feels right for the brand," she told CNN Business. "We are all about innovation."Food, beverage and other consumer goods companies have been trying to figure out how to capitalize on growing interest in ingredients like CBD. Consumers are increasingly seeking products that offer an extra something, like increased energy or better gut health. CBD may fit the bill: Some studies suggest the CBD can help treat inflammation, pain, anxiety and seizures. Carl's Jr. isn't promoting any possible functional benefits of CBD, Trevino said.Carl's Jr. is hoping to please their customers, whom Trevino said tend to be interested in new trends. It's also chasing "future Carl's Jr. customers that are younger," said Trevino. "They are more open to different flavors of products," as well as benefits trendy ingredients may offer. The chain first decided to explore CBD in January, after introducing a 1511

EDGEWOOD, Ky. — “Cancer has touched everybody out there,” Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders said Monday night. “Everyone knows someone who has suffered who could use charity.”His office believes 25-year-old Jessica Krecskay spent four years pretending to be that someone, swindling over ,000 out of well-intentioned supporters to cover medical expenses that didn’t exist.Krecskay was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with theft by deception, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The people who had supported her through her phony diagnosis were the ones to turn her in, Sanders said.“A couple years ago, we had another case where a young lady was prosecuted for receiving funds that were gotten under the mistaken belief that she had cancer,” he said, referring to the scandal surrounding Northern Kentucky University student Kelly Schmahl. The Delta Zeta sorority member 918

DENVER, Colo. – Aches, pains and stress are just a way of life as we get older, but there’s a new trend that claims to reduce all of those issues. It’s called light therapy.Fitness instructor Christa Dellebovi is among those using the therapy. “I teach seven to eight classes a week here at Rise Nation and I do my own workouts as well I lift weights 3 or 4 times a week,” said Dellebovi. "I feel it a lot of times at night. I lay down after the day and everything just tightens up, tenses up and after sitting at a desk for a while, I start to feel it in my hips and my joints just get tight."It wasn't until Dellebovi was introduced to light therapy that she started noticing a difference. It can be in the form of a face mask, a sauna or just a room filled with a certain colored light that's said to penetrate deep into the skin."Recently it has become popular with celebrities and the public in general in regard to inferred saunas, the idea being that it can help with inflammation,” said said Dr. Zeina Dajani. "Although, some studies have found the opposite."Dr. Dajani says light therapy comes with claims of reducing stress and pain while improving sleep. It’s become so popular, the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas opened the Blu Room using UV-B light, but Dr. Dajani says there are people who shouldn't use light therapy – those with autoimmune disorders."So, in that case, red and blue light may be harmful, but for the general public, they are safe."This new trend isn't cheap. A single session can cost around .So, whether you try it out, Dellebovi says it’s about more than just sitting under a light."The amount of noise we experience and constantly all day every day, I think anyone can benefit to take 10 minutes and just disconnect and spend a little time for yourself," said Dellebovi. 1816
