SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County's unemployment rate dropped for the sixth consecutive month, but that momentum appears to be at risk.The state reported Friday that the jobless rate in the region was 7.7% in October, down from 8.9% in September. Over the last year, about 106,000 San Diegans have lost their payroll jobs. San Diego's recovering job market is facing new headwinds from the latest round of coronavirus restrictions. The purple tier bans indoor dining and limits retail capacity to 25%. And on Saturday, the governor's curfew of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. goes into effect. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police need help finding a man accused of burglarizing a boat and leaving behind a meth pipe and his own feces. The owner of the boat, Donnie Vachon, is still trying to pick up the pieces since it happened. He's out thousands of dollars due to damage and stolen property."Put it in perspective, it's just a boat, but it's our boat, it's our family's boat, it's my grand-babies boat," said Vachon.The theft happened in September and since then Vachon has heard of two more boat burglaries.He says the same off-brand soda can was left on both his boat and one of the others burglarized."It's kind of a heartbreaker, you wake up and go to work every day and here it sits," said Vachon, looking at the boat parked in the driveway.Detectives have not yet confirmed whether the burglaries are connected but are looking into it.If you have any information, contact Crime Stoppers. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego Police are investigating after a woman who was shot in Barrio Logan Friday night died.Police were called to the 2400 block of Harbor Drive around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of a woman, later identified as 36-year-old Stephanie Kinman, who was shot in the area.When they arrived, officers found Kinman on the sidewalk near a vehicle.The Kinman was taken to the hospital where she later died.Throughout their investigation, detectives learned that the woman was shot near a pizza restaurant on the 1000 block of Dewey Street before being driven to Harbor drive by a “male companion.”The man told investigators that the victim got into a fight with a man and a woman. After the fight ended, Kinman was shot while getting into her car, police say.The shooter hasn’t yet been captured. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for two men believed to be involved in a robbery at San Diego State University Monday night. The robbery happened at 6:42 p.m. near the intersection of Lindeo Paseo and College Avenue. At this point it is unclear if the victim was a student or a community member. The victim told police they were pushed by one of the suspects while walking on the sidewalk. That same suspect then took their cell phone. Both men were last seen walking southbound on College Avenue. The victim described the suspects as follows:  601
