BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese mainland's Taiwan affairs chief Zhang Zhijun landed in Beijing at around 10 p.m. Saturday after a four-day visit to the island.
He said China is advocating and implementing the development of environment-friendly civilization and is ready to strengthen cooperation with all other countries on an equal, friendly, and mutually beneficial basis.
Xi will visit the four countries at the invitation of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Raul Castro, president of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba.
The Chinese fleet is composed of a missile destroyer, a missile frigate, a supply ship, a hospital ship and two ship-borne helicopters, as well as a commando unit, a diving squad and a medical team.
