"I was so weak and so sick and tired. I was getting my chemo and getting ready for my surgery, and there was just no way I could be here."He said he had not been feeling like himself. A colonoscopy at the age of 50 found he had a mass in his colon.“If things aren’t working the way they’re supposed to, go (to the doctor) and don’t wait," Herron said. "Cancer doesn’t wait."After more than a dozen rounds of chemo and a surgery, he’s one step closer to being a cancer survivor.
