BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Friday met with Sihasak Phuangketkeow, permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
Bahrozyan voiced his ardent expectation for the Chinese government and enterprises' active participation in the Dubai International Project Management Forum, saying it accords with the spirit of Xi's speech and the China-Arab cooperation forum.
Regarding the negotiations on the new agreement, he said the process should be transparent and broadly participated in order to reach a result "acceptable to all parties".
Ma Mingqiang, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Center, an inter- governmental organization jointly founded by ASEAN and China in 2011 to facilitate ASEAN-China trade, investment, tourism, education and culture cooperation, said culture is very important as it lays foundations for the relations between states.
After their talks, the two heads of state witnessed the signing of a series of cooperation agreements covering areas like diplomacy, economy and trade, transit transport, mining, infrastructure construction, finance, culture and housing construction.
