OTAY MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a person of interest after a mother and daughter were shot and killed at an Otay Mesa home Sunday morning.San Diego Police were called to the residence on the 4300 block of Ebersole Drive after receiving reports of shots fired around 8:30 a.m.When police arrived they found a 37-year-old woman in the front yard with a gunshot wound.Police then learned that another woman was injured inside the house. They found a 65-year-old woman, also suffering from gunshot wounds.Both of the women who were shot died from their injuries. Police believe that the person of interest in the case, Justice Love Peace, aka. Jeremiah Horton, took a 6-month-old boy from the home. Shortly after 3 p.m., police said they had safely located the 6-month-old boy, but were still searching for Horton.Horton is considered armed and dangerous.Police believe Horton is the infant's father, the 37-year-old woman is the infant's mother, and the 65-year-old woman is the 37-year-old's mother. PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — An elementary school principal was arrested on Thursday for allegedly stealing 0 from a 9-year-old child.Pasco County deputies arrested Connerton Elementary School principal Edward John Abernathy.The Sheriff's Office say that on Oct. 23, the 9-year-old student, who is mentally handicapped brought some of his parents' money to school. When teachers realized how much money the child had, they took the money, counted it and put it in the principal's office.When the mother of the child went to school to get the money, deputies say the principal gave her only ,200 not the ,100 her child had brought to school."Subsequent investigation by deputies determined the principal kept the 0 difference," the Pasco County Sheriff's Office wrote in a press release.Deputies booked the 50-year-old Abernathy into the Pasco County Jail on one charge of grand theft.Officials with Pasco County Schools say that Abernathy will be placed on administrative leave as they investigate. 1048

This Saturday, it will reopen at Liberty Public Station."There's not much," says owner Fredy Palma of his small space in the market. "But you won’t believe that very tasty food is going to come from here."Palma says his rent will be about half of what it used to be in Pacific Beach. He also says moving into the Public Market means he no longer has to worry about all of the little things that come along with having a brick-and-mortar location."Things like trash, telephone, light, SDG&E," he explains. He says this will let him focus more on the food and customers.
