WASHINGTON, June 12 (Xinhua) -- China will work closely with the United States to ensure a full success of Chinese President Xi Jinping's first state visit to the country in September, a top Chinese general said.
The Standing Committee meeting of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee was an important political consultation, during which political advisors offered their suggestions for the five-year plan, according to a statement released after the meeting.
Wang and Cabrisas witnessed the signing of an economic and technical cooperation agreement after their meeting.
"Li's OECD visit will help the organization better understand emerging economies and developing countries, and inject new political impetus for bilateral cooperation," Wang Chao said.
The more than 90 dialogue mechanisms existing between China and the United States, with the S&ED and CPE included, have ensured smooth channels for communication, and for dispute settlement to some extent.
