DEER SPRINGS, Calif. (KGTV) — One person died in a fire that destroyed two trailers and a garage in the unincorporated Escondido area on Saturday.The fire was reported just after 2:30 p.m. in the 9800 block of Rocky Ridge Road at Sage Glen Trail in Deer Springs, according to CAL FIRE San Diego.San Diego Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene to find fire crews actively trying to douse the flames. The 71-year-old homeowner told deputies he just arrived home from fishing before hearing a loud explosion as he was left the garage.The explosion caused a fire that spread throughout the garage and to some adjacent trailers, deputies say. The blaze destroyed two residential trailers and the detached garage.All residents were account for except man, who was later found dead inside one of the trailers, according to the Sheriff's Department. The victim's identity was not immediately released.Sheriff's Bomb and Arson detectives were working to determine the origin and cause of the fire. 998

Trump for President, Inc organization for claims of defamation, civil conspiracy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.“I have filed a lawsuit in Colorado in an effort to unwind as much of the damage as possible done to me, my family, my life, and my livelihood as a result of the numerous false public statements that I was somehow responsible for ‘rigging’ the 2020 presidential election,” Coomer said.The 52-page lawsuit filed in the 2nd Judicial District Court also names Sidney Powell; Sidney Powell, P.C.; Rudolph Giuliani; Joseph Oltmann; FEC United; Shuffling Madness Media, Inc. d/b/a; Conservative Daily; Jim Hoft; TGP Communications LLC d/b/a; The Gateway Pundit; Michelle Malkin; Eric Metaxas; Chanel Rion; Herring Networks, Inc. d/b/a; One America News Network; and Newsmax Media, Inc.Coomer claims statements from the defendants have led to death threats, constant harassment and damage to his reputation as a national expert on voting systems.The lawsuit says Oltmann made a claim he infiltrated a conference call with Antifa activists in which he "heard someone identified as 'Eric from Dominion,' and that this 'Eric' stated he would ensure the election went to President-Elect Biden." Oltmann attributed statements made on the alleged call, of which there's no recording, to Coomer, the lawsuit states.From there, Oltmann widely distributed the claims, which quickly spread across media sources, the lawsuit states. The suit goes on to say the President began publishing numerous false statements alleging Dominion interfered with the election; his son and campaign surrogate, Eric Trump, tweeted a photo of Coomer alongside the claims; and the President’s campaign lawyers identified Coomer in a nationally televised press conference where they described him as a “vicious, vicious man” who “is close to Antifa.”“The widespread dissemination of false conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election has had devastating consequences both for me personally and for many of the thousands of American election workers and officials, both Republican and Democratic, who put aside their political beliefs to run free, fair, and transparent elections. DALLAS, Ga. – A Georgia student who was suspended for posting a photo of a crowded school hallway on social media is free to return to classes.The mother of 15-year-old Hannah Watters told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday that she spoke to the principal of North Paulding High School and he rescinded the suspension.Watters took to Twitter Friday to thank the public for their support.“This morning my school called and they have deleted my suspension,” she said. “To everyone supporting me, I can’t thank you enough. If I’m not responding it’s because my life has been somewhat crazy the past few days. Once again thank you.”Earlier this week, Watters posted a photo on Twitter showing students walking down a crowded hallway. Some were wearing masks, but others were without face coverings."I took the photo initially after seeing the first day of school photo taken by someone else go online as well and got picked up by some media coverage,” Watters told CNN. “And I took it out of mostly concern and nervousness after seeing the first days of school."Watters told CNN that she was accused of breaking three codes of conduct while being suspended: using her phone during instruction time, using her phone during school hours for social media, and filming students and posting on a social media platform.While Watters admits she broke the policy about posting images of students on social media, she doesn’t regret doing so though and stands behind her actions.Watters says she did it because she was concerned about the safety of the students, faculty and staff, as well as their loved ones."I'd like to say this is some good and necessary trouble," Watters told CNN. DEL MAR, Calif. (KGTV) -- Scott Eastwood was caught on video taking down signs as Del Mar residents protested a proposed luxury resort Sunday. A protestor, Spencer Gobar, who confronted Eastwood in the video, told 10News that the actor identified himself to the group as an official from the city.Eastwood reportedly told demonstrators to take down signs and banners at Del Mar Plaza. However, Gobar said she recognized Eastwood as soon as she saw his face, having seen him numerous times around the area. She asked him by name to stop trying to remove the sign. Eastwood then walked away as the protestors heckled him about his actions and about his famous father, Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood."It all happened so fast," Gobar told 10News. "The last thing I was expecting was for this D-list celebrity to show up and try to dismantle the sign."Eastwood owns at least one business in the North County, a clothing company based in Encinitas. However, it is not clear why he wanted the protest signs against Del Mar Measure G removed.
