NASA has unveiled its billion plan to send the first woman to the moon.On Monday, the agency said they hope to have a woman and man land on the moon in 2024.“With bipartisan support from Congress, our 21st-century push to the Moon is well within America’s reach,” said NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine in the press release. “As we’ve solidified more of our exploration plans in recent months, we’ve continued to refine our budget and architecture. We’re going back to the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and inspiration for a new a generation of explorers. MOUNT PLEASANT, Wisc. — A Wisconsin woman claims a billion Foxconn factory could threaten her dream home. Kimberly Mahoney says her family spent nearly 0,000 customizing their dream home. Her house rests where the new Foxconn development will be. Her comments come before a public hearing detailing plans, which is set for Tuesday night.Village President Dave DeGroot, who calls the billion investment a once in a generation opportunity, says the homes in the development and road improvement areas are being purchased at 140-percent market value. But Mahoney claims her home is not in the road improvement zone where she must agree to sell. She claims the village is trying to "skirt the law" by declaring her property as a blighted area on the development site."This area doesn't qualify for the new definition of blight that the Wisconsin Legislature put in Chapter 32 that says the properties are dilapidated or deteriorated, or run down, or are a safety or health risk," said Mahoney."I don't think its fair to characterize it that we are skirting any laws," said DeGroot. "We are being very upfront, very forthright, very transparent with how we are going about this process. (KGTV) — A police pursuit ended in a violent crash Wednesday, after a suspect hit two cars and injured a woman.National City Police said a car was stolen in Chula Vista overnight after the owner left it running. That car was found hours later by a National City school resource officer who detected it nearby on his lowjack system.The resource officer reported the stolen vehicle to police, leading to a brief pursuit with the suspect.The suspect made a sharp turn at Highland Ave. and 6th St., crashing into one car and sending that car into a second vehicle.A woman in the first vehicle that was hit was injured. She was taken to Sharp Chula Vista with unknown injuries.The crash ended right in front of a sign spinner working at the corner."All of a sudden I see they're chasing the car down this corner. He came this way, impacted that truck over there," the witness told 10News. "I was in shock the whole time. My jaw was dropped. I was scared, like, 'oh man I could've died."Police said the suspect was apprehended at the scene. Police added they found possible narcotics in the vehicle and believe the suspect may have threw something out of the vehicle during the chase. 1208

More than 120 people have been sickened since mid-May reportedly from bagged salad sold in Midwest grocery stores.Interviews with these people led the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to connect the illnesses with certain bagged salad mixes containing carrots, red cabbage and iceberg lettuce sold at ALDI, Hy-Vee and Jewel-Osco stores in several Midwestern states.As of June 22, 2020, a total of 122 people with laboratory-confirmed Cyclospora infections associated with this outbreak have been reported from 7 states: Illinois (30), Iowa (54), Kansas (1), Minnesota (13), Missouri (7) Nebraska (8), and Wisconsin (9). Of the 122 reported illnesses, the CDC says 19 people have been hospitalized.Symptoms of Cyclospora include diarrhea, loss of appetite, cramping, bloating, nausea, fatigue, vomiting and low-grade fever.
