Smith was fired by Ohio State in late July when his ex-wife filed a domestic violence civil protection order.A day after Smith's firing, Meyer told reporters at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago that he was not aware of any allegations against Smith. OCOTILLO WELLS (KGTV) - Two people died after a crash in Ocotillo Wells Saturday night, according to Cal Fire. Two cars collided just after 7 p.m.near Highway 78 and Quarry Road. Two people died at the scene, Cal Fire confirmed. The road is closed in the area for an unknown amount of time to investigate the accident. (KGTV) — Oceanside Police are investigating the discovery of a body near Capistrano Park Saturday.Police received a call about a body in a river bed near the park at about 1:30 p.m.The body was discovered, but was severely decomposed, police said.It's not known if the victim died of natural causes or if this is a homicide case, police added. 369
