Normal levels are 95% and above.Ramers said studies show if you give the steroid too early or to someone who has a mild case, it could cause harm. "If you dial down the immune system too early or in a case that is really mild, you might have the opposite effect you're looking for," Ramers said.There's also a list of side effects."If you use them for a chronic basis or for more than a couple of days there is a long list of things it can cause. Daniel Mackinnon, 37, will spend seven years in prison for crimes the Assistant U.S. Attorney described as “politically-motivated.” Early on the morning of Apr. 24, Mackinnon went to the home of a prominent real estate developer. Two adults and three small children were home asleep at the time, prosecutors said. There were no reports of any injuries. Later the same morning, Mackinnon drove into the Kearny Mesa offices of Raytheon, a defense contractor. The car bounced back, and Mackinnon got out, opening his back hatch, prosecutors said. Moments later, flames erupted from the back of the car and damaged the office building. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The California Coastal Commission Wednesday signed off on a demonstration of the lighting project that would illuminate pillars of the Coronado Bay Bridge.The project will include installing lights along four pillars of the bridge, which will be tested during one week in June. Following the test, an environmental impact study will be conducted.The tests are part of a larger effort for a proposed artist-designed lighting project that would span 30 pillars of the 2.12-mile bridge. The Port of San Diego is trying to raise between - million to complete the project by 2022.At completion, the Port hopes to have a finished lighting display by artist Peter Fink, meant to serve as a gateway to the region and in a variety of scenarios using its programmable LED displays. However, that is not the case with California Junior Colleges, otherwise known as the CCCAA, as they have already come up with a plan for the fall. That means for the next 5 months, athletic fields at Mesa College will be quiet until early 2021."There was a lot of talk," says Mesa College Athletic Director Ryan Schumaker, "and a lot of plans, that included getting sports back on the field quicker. But it just didn't seem feasible, especially when we saw the state start to take steps backwards. It just seemed like the right thing to do, to push it back as far as we could."So in the case of Mesa College, all 21 of their athletic teams will not get started until some point in the spring."The goal is to get our student athletes on campus safely, as well as our staff," says Mesa College Head Football Coach Gary Watkins. "I know we won't start practice until February, but there may be some time in January to get in front of the boys. At that time, will get them acclimated physically and mentally. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Students have been released from school following reports of shots fired in the area around Kearny Senior High School Wednesday afternoon. According to San Diego Police, officers were alerted to the reports around 2:20 p.m. So far, no one has been taken into custody and police are still searching for a scene. Mesa College Drive is also closed from Ashford to Armory while police search the area. Kearny Senior High School is located on the 1900 block of Komet Way near San Diego Mesa College. 523
