INDIANAPOLIS — Nearly 400 guns were seized from an Indianapolis gun store as part of a months-long federal investigation. United States Attorney Josh Minkler said the seizures happened on Tuesday from G2 Sports Products. The investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives found evidence that G2 Sports "knowingly transferred handguns to an out-of-state resident, made false entries in records, failed to report multiple sales of handguns and knowingly transferred firearms to a prohibited person."The business agreed to an enhanced surrender of its federal license, according to the US Attorney's Office, which means none of the owners will be eligible to reapply for their license or deal in firearms again. The owners allowed ATF to seize the approximately 390 firearms, silencers and receivers which included rifles, shotguns and handguns with a total estimated value of 4,000. The faces of the trainees and several other people have been blurred out.The text refers to a training instructor for the class, said the state Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety, which released the photo.Jeff S. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — School officials at Blue Valley School District in Kansas say they are having a problem with students vaping at school. The problem is so severe that school officials are calling it an "epidemic." "Students have been caught vaping in classes, in our hallways, in our bathrooms," said David Stubblefield, Blue Valley's executive director of school administration. "Kids have come to us and said they cannot sit through an entire class without vaping." According to the school district, vaping usage has increased among students in high school year after year. The district has also seen students vaping in middle school. Every day, principals are dealing with some problem involving vaping, Stubblefield said. "A lot of times there’s not a long-lasting smell to it and the vape can dissipate very quickly. They are so easily concealable because they look like normal, everyday devices, like a USB," Stubblefield said. To combat vaping, the school district is focusing on education.
