According to San Diego Police, officers were alerted to the reports around 2:20 p.m. So far, no one has been taken into custody and police are still searching for a scene. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The man accused of opening fire into a Hillcrest business has been found incompetent to stand trial. Stefano Markell Parker, 29, was facing attempted murder charges in San Diego in connection with the shooting at Golden Dragon Asian Bistro in February of 2019. Witnesses in the area that night described a man they say stood outside the restaurant armed with a rifle and opened fire. No one was shot. Witnesses say the gunman then changed clothes, providing a description. Police arrested Parker in the area later in the night. A spokesperson at the Jefferson County Jail in Alabama previously confirmed to 10News that Parker was in custody in recent years. In 2016, he was arrested in Alabama for possession of marijuana and drug trafficking charges. In 2017, he faced charges of distributing methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Court records also show that Parker faced capital murder charges when he was a teenager in connection with a shooting from a vehicle. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The manager of a Cricket Wireless store in Pacific Beach is hoping the public can help identify two men involved in tagging the back of the store. Blake Beadle, the store manager, said newly installed cameras captured two men approach the store on Garnett Avenue on Monday night at around 9:30 p.m.One of the men approached the back of the store and appeared to spray paint something on the back wall. Meanwhile, the other man stood watch.Beadle said he had just painted over the spot a week and a half ago, when vandals had hit the same spot. “It seems like as soon as we paint over it, within a few weeks it gets tagged again in a similar fashion,” said Beadle. He reported the latest incident to police. He said he hopes the video can help identify the suspects. 792
