AKRON, Ohio -- One of America’s largest tire maker, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, responded Wednesday to President Donald Trump's tweet calling on the public not to buy tires after an image circulated of a policy asking employees not to wear any political attire, including MAGA gear, to the workplace.Trump tweeted Wednesday: “Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).” Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) have recovered two nude photographs of a woman taken by Metro Nashville Police Sergeant Rob Forrest while he was being paid by taxpayers to protect Nashville Mayor Megan Barry. That detail is contained in a new search warrant filed Wednesday, seeking permission from a judge to search Barry's mobile phone.TBI agent Joshua Savely said in his affidavit that the face of the woman is not visible in the photographs recovered from Metro Police emails. Those photos appear to have been taken on Forrest's city-issued iPhone, then deleted, the affidavit says.Still, Savley wrote that a separate picture recovered from Forrest's phone shows Barry wearing clothing similar to items visible in one of the nude photos. Barry can also be seen carrying a purse similar to one that appears in another nude picture."Your affiant believes that probable cause exists to show that Rob Forrest used a department issued iPhone 6s Plus while on duty," Savley wrote."It will also show that on May 15, 2017, and on October 18, 2017, he used this phone to photograph a nude or partially nude female. It will also show that Rob Forrest's timecards report that he was working while these photographs were taken."Your affiant believes probable cause exists to show that Rob Forrest was indeed not working at the time [those photographs] were taken but was rather participating in the affair with Megan Barry at these time."Forrest submitted his retirement to the Metro Nashville Police Department on Jan. 31, the same say that Barry admitted that she and Forrest had had an affair. Although thousands of people learn CPR, women are less likely than men to get CPR from a bystander. And they are more likely to die.A new study found only 39 percent of women suffering cardiac arrest in a public place were given CPR versus 45 percent of men. And men were 23 percent more likely to survive."It's not hugely surprising but rather anyone that has a different body type than this adult male half mannequin of a person we're going to have some hesitation when we figure out how to handle that situation," says Stephen Wolfstich, CEO of Remote Emergency Services + Training.Wolfstich says because of that, people often have questions before starting CPR on women. "Do I remove their shirt?" Wolfstich says. "Do I remove their bra? What's my hand placement? Is it appropriate for me to be putting my hands on a female chest? Are there bystanders around and how are they going to react and where does my liability stand."He tells students they are protected by the Good Samaritan Law. And CPR only requires touching the center of the chest."You're not actually pressing down on the breast," Wolfstich says. "It is not going to injure anything, you're putting all of your weight directly onto that breastbone."He and other experts say instruction must be more inclusive, and there is no time to waste."Us simply hesitating on do I want to put my hands on their chest that could be five or 10 seconds, "Woldstich says. "15, 20 seconds that goes by where we decide for ourselves is this okay with me. "Well if too much time goes by it's not okay with either one of them."The study is in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. It involved nearly 20,000 cases across the U.S. It's the first to look at the response when it comes to helping men compared to women by the general public. 1823
A former Strongsville (Ohio) City Schools employee has been indicted for the alleged theft of several high-priced items, including a barn, purchased using school district funds. On May 10, the Lorain County Sheriff's Office and the state auditor executed a search warrant at the residence of Robert Schwerman, 49, who was a former maintenance foreman for the Strongsville City School District. The investigation involved the alleged theft of ,000 worth of material goods from the district dating back to 2013, according to the state auditor, who held a press conference on Tuesday announcing the indictment.Schwerman is accused of stealing an upgraded John Deere utility vehicle valued at more than ,000 and a ,000 zero-turn lawn mower. He also is accused of stealing a small barn from school grounds, which authorities later found in his yard.“This man was shameless. He treated the school district like his exclusive personal home improvement store – a new home generator, a utility shed, a furnace, air conditioner and water heater. Nothing was off limits, apparently," said state auditor Dave Yost.In June 2017, the superintendent received an anonymous tip about alleged fraud, which was then reported to the Ohio Auditor's Office.Property recovered during the search included: 1340
