Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney?Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters June 21, 2019. 541

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (AP) — A man died after falling into a river at Yosemite National Park on Christmas Day, the National Park Service said Friday. The man apparently slipped down Silver Apron, a large, sloping granite area above Nevada Fall, and suffered a head injury, government spokesman Andrew Munoz said in a statement. The ongoing investigation is taking longer than usual because of the partial government shutdown, he said.Munoz said rangers responding to a 911 call arrived on scene in less than an hour and pulled the man, who has not been identified, from the water."Medical attention was provided to the visitor, but he died from his injuries," Munoz said. The man's death was first reported by Outside Magazine, which noted that at least 10 people died in the park last year, including another man who slipped and fell to his death near Nevada Fall.No further details on the Dec. 25 fatality were released.Munoz said the park didn't issue a press release about the death because of the shutdown, which began two weeks ago and forced furloughs of hundreds of thousands of federal government employees.Yosemite remains open to visitors during the shutdown, and crowds of visitors have been driving into the park to take advantage of free admission. This week, the park announced new access limitations and several closed areas within the park because of problems with human waste, damage to resources and other public safety concerns during the shutdown.Under the park service's shutdown plan, law enforcement staff remains on duty.Munoz said the visitor was not in a closed area when he fell. 1622

Younger gun owners report carrying their firearms on them much more frequently than older gun owners, expressing a higher level of support for concealed carry, according to a poll conducted in July by Ipsos in partnership with Newsy for its new special report "Young Guns."While younger Americans in the survey were just as likely to own guns (28 percent) as older generations (27 percent), they were almost twice as likely to report carrying their guns on them, with 43 percent of younger gun owners (ages 18-34) polled saying they carry a gun at least once a month compared to 23 percent of older American gun owners (ages 35 and up). While popular belief may view younger generations as less tolerant of guns, the Newsy/Ipsos survey results show a far more nuanced view. The survey also reveals the emerging habits and attitudes for young gun owners after the last decade of rapid growth in gun sales and in the number of concealed carry permits. The findings are explored in "Young Guns," a Newsy special report that flips the narrative about younger Americans and guns by examining changes in the gun industry and its consumers — from an increasing interest in self-defense to a growing online community of gun-focused video channels. The special report debuted on Monday night during Newsy's evening newscast, "The Why," and is now available on most streaming platforms. The Newsy/Ipsos poll also finds: 1414

— in damages to Sandmann’s family for its coverage of the Jan. 18 incident. The incident involved an interaction among a group of Covington Catholic High School student-activists who had participated in the March for Life, a group of Native American demonstrators participating in their own Indigenous Peoples March and members of a fringe religious group known as the Black Hebrew Israelites. The three groups encountered one another outside the Lincoln Memorial. The Black Hebrew Israelites, having spent hours shouting racist, homophobic invective at all passersby, began to insult the students while they waited for their buses. According to Sandmann, the students received chaperones’ permission to perform their school spirit chants as a positive counterpoint. The Native American group entered at this point. Leader Nathan Phillips, who said he believed he was witnessing a confrontation that could soon escalate, waded into the crowd of Covington students while singing and playing a traditional drum.Thence the image that became inescapable on social media: Phillips singing and playing his drum while Sandmann, wearing a red “Make America Great Again” cap, stood in front of him and smiled. A short clip of that interaction spread explosively on Twitter alongside a narrative claiming the students — many of whom were also wearing the red caps denoting support for President Donald Trump — had bullied and harassed the Native American group with chants including “Build the wall!” The next several days became a whirlwind of confusion, correction and competing stories about who had committed what grievous error that day. The Washington Post wasn’t the only outlet to cover the story, but it arrived early and presented coverage that aligned with the initial narrative. A Jan. 19 video clip of the interaction was titled “Teens mock and jeer Native American elder on the Mall,” and other coverage incorrectly referred to Phillips as a Vietnam War veteran based on statements by the Indigenous Peoples Movement and Lakota Law Project. The paper would later 2075

got a little more of the wild west than they bargained for.During the annual Ride for the Brand cattle drive downtown, a longhorn cow got loose and charged into the lobby of the Plaza of the Rockies building, scattering crowds and sending onlookers scrambling. One person was actually trapped inside the lobby with the cow for a few stressful moments, before a man rode his horse into the lobby, roped the cow and led it outside onto the street. There have been no immediate reports of injuries from the incident. The cattle drive is an part of the Ride the Brand Ranch Rodeo, which is happening in Colorado Springs this weekend at the Norris Penrose Events Center. 666
