(KGTV) -- Sunday, the coroner’s office identified a 6-year-old girl who was mowed down by a suspected drunken driver in Fullerton.Grace Aguilar was killed around 2:15 p.m. Saturday after a driver, Maximino Delgado, 52, drove onto a sidewalk on the 1400 block of Lombard Street.Authorities say Delgado was attempting to make a turn when he lost control of the vehicle and struck Aguilar.RELATED: Pedestrian killed after being hit by train near Sorrento Valley coaster stationDelgado continued to drive on the sidewalk before reentering the road and striking a parked car.Police performed a breath test on Delgado and reportedly discovered his blood alcohol level was .23 percent, far above the level of drunken driving at .08 percent.Aguilar was taken to the hospital where she later died.RELATED: Tow truck crashes into pedestrian and bicyclist in Mira MesaDelgado was arrested and booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and vehicular manslaughter. GRANDVIEW, Mo. — It's something many women dream about for years: the dress she'll walk down the aisle in to say "I do."One Kansas City-area bride about to be married is giving hers away to another bride going through a difficult time.Grandview resident Taylor Cooper will marry her fiance, Nick Amor, on Oct. 10. Cooper originally planned to have two wedding dresses, one to wear during her ceremony and the other during her reception.After downsizing her wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she didn't think the wardrobe change would be appropriate and wanted the extra dress to go to a bride who could use some help.Cooper said she recently landed her dream job and feels blessed she has not faced many difficulties because of the pandemic."I just wanted to think of a way to give back to somebody that had been impacted," Cooper said. "I never really thought in my life that I would be in a position that I could gift something like this."She posted in a bridal Facebook group saying she was looking for a bride in need of a dress, and she was quickly connected with a bride in Georgia."She's just such a sweetheart, she literally has texted me every single day since I told her I was going to give it to her, and she's like 'I can't thank you enough,'" Cooper said.Cooper packed up the dress Wednesday to ship it to its new owner."I feel like it's going where it belongs," Cooper said.Cooper's October wedding is one of many happening this fall.Megan Julian, the founder of Julian Events in Kansas City, said she's seeing fewer couples canceling or postponing weddings and moving to smaller weddings instead."What we're finding is couples are surprised by what they can do with their original plans on a smaller scale," Julian said.Julian said many couples are also incorporating virtual aspects to their weddings so they can keep their original guest list.As Cooper prepares to send off her dress, she hopes to inspire others to lend a helping hand if they can."It doesn't really matter how big or small, I just think any nice gesture we can do for each other these days is just so important," Cooper said.This story originally reported by Emma James on kshb.com. 2180

General Motors has already announced plant closings and big job cuts. Ford could be next.Ford (F) said this summer that it was planning to radically reshape its business, and could close or scale back unprofitable operations in some regions. It said it would spend up to billion on the transformation.The company has revealed little detail about its plans. Adam Jonas, the auto analyst at Morgan Stanley, said he believes Ford is preparing to slash 25,000 jobs worldwide. He expects that most of the cuts will be in Europe, where Ford has long struggled, but he said North American plants and workers won't be spared.Like GM, Ford is reinventing itself to compete in an industry undergoing radical change. Both GM (GM) and Ford have said they need to cut costs to invest in the next generation of vehicles, such as self-driving and electric cars."There are bigger forces at work driving global [automakers] to rethink the fundamental idea of supporting increasingly obsolete segments, propulsion systems, and geographic regions," he wrote in a research note.Ford issued a statement on Tuesday saying the "actions will come largely outside of North America.""This includes the targeted and thoughtful approach we are taking to the redesign of our global salaried workforce," Ford said. These moons look the same as any other.Before the blue moon on Halloween, another full moon will appeared in the sky on Oct. 1.
