So to me I think that's the biggest part of this ad."Caleb had just finished his first semester of college when he read a text message while driving, veered into oncoming traffic, and hit an SUV head on. He died instantly."It happened and he made a terrible mistake," Sorohan says. "And we're just trying to make sure that other people don't make that same mistake because not only could you kill somebody else you could kill yourself."The ad is a part of AT&T's "It Can Wait" campaign, which has inspired nearly 25 million pledges to not drive distracted. Sorohan hopes this will add to that number, and show people this isn't just a teen issue, but an issue for everyone."We'll never get to talk to Caleb again," Caleb's brother Griffin shares in a longer version of the ad. "We'll never get to do regular day things with Caleb again."Caleb's sister also took part; the family is hoping that by doing so, people can see the lives impacted by distracted driving go far beyond their own."They should want to come home to the people that they love," Sorohan says. "Every night and they should know how important they are to the people who love them. So don't pick up your phone in the car, just put it down and forget about it until you get to where you're going. INDIANAPOLIS -- It was a busy day for police in Greenwood, Indiana on Monday after three accidents involving trains left three people injured. The three are expected to survive. No one was seriously injured in any of the crashes. The first crash happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Pushville Road near E. Worthville Road. Police said no one was injured in the crash but the car was destroyed. The second crash happened just before 4 p.m. on County Line Road just east of Madison Avenue. Police said a woman driving a car came up to the intersection where a train was passing through and for some unknown reason did not stop. The woman driving the car was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries but is expected to be OK. The third crash happened near the same intersection.Police have not released many details about the crash but said that the person inside the vehicle was awake and talking when they arrived. That person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. All three crashes remain under investigation. MORE TOP STORIES |?Pet raccoon, stoned off of too much weed, brought to Indianapolis firehouse. INDIANAPOLIS -- The two men accused of shooting and killing a 1-year-old were at home playing video games at the time, the mother of one of the suspects said Wednesday morning.Darrin Banks, 27, and Brian Palmer, 29, have been charged with shooting and killing 1-year-old Malaysia Robson on March 30. "I want the detectives, I want whoever, to pull up Microsoft and see where they have logged in," Renee Sloan, Palmer's mother,  said. "You have dinged these men as murderers. You have put a tag on them as murderers, and they're not murderers."Robson was killed when gunfire struck her home on the 3500 block of Wittfield Avenue. Police have said it began as a dispute on social media. Someone then drove to the home and opened fire at around 2 a.m. Banks and Palmer face preliminary charges of murder and aggravated assault. "The whole community is talking about Darrin Banks and Brian Palmer," Sloan said. "Those are their names. They're not murderers. They're human beings and they have names. They did not do this. That is not in their demeanor. That is not how they work. That is not what they do. I want to have a voice for them. Everyone else has a voice but those two. I want people to know what type of people they are."The weekend after Robson was killed, the 1-year-old's grandmother helped organize a call for unity in the community and a march to reduce gun violence.For Robson's grandmother, it was a way to remember her grandchild and push for change so no family ever has to go through the same loss."For anyone with kids - go home and love your kids like never before," she said. Malaysia Robson is the youngest victim of a fatal shooting in Indianapolis since 2013. Hicks showed symptoms following a Trump campaign rally in Minnesota Wednesday night, according to CNN and other media. She had spent time that day with the president and other presidential advisors, then flew to the rally together on Air Force One. Multiple reports state Hicks was quarantined on the plane back to Washington, D.C. and deplaned by the rear steps. So far, close aides, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and the Vice President and Second Lady have all tested negative for the coronavirus.However, the president’s diagnosis is likely to raise questions about the rapid testing system at the White House, which is known to have a lower accuracy rate than more intrusive COVID-19 tests.The president is expected to conduct official and political events from the residence — including a call on Friday with senior citizens about the coronavirus. 1960
