View this post on Instagram Excited, humble and hungry ...if there is one thing I have learned about football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that...you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me...I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m gonna not gonna say much more - I’m just gonna get to work! #Year1 p.s. A video posted by a Twitter user Thursday night shows a car driving into a crowd of protesters in Times Square Thursday evening. BREAKING: Here’s the view from the Times Square camera of the moment a vehicle drove through Black Lives Matter demonstrators.@PIX11News pic.twitter.com/XeRmYpagRd— Cristian Benavides (@cbenavidesTV) September 4, 2020 The video shows marchers and people on bicycles in the streets outside Times Square when what appears to be a Ford drives into the crowd. A Twitter account providing updates on protests going on around the city said that the protest was asking for justice for Daniel Prude, a Black man who died March 30 after he was taken off life support, seven days after the encounter with police in Rochester. His death received no public attention until Wednesday, when his family released police body camera video they obtained. Prude was handcuffed, hooded and pinned down by police.Seven officers involved in the incident were suspended Thursday by Rochester Mayor Lovely Ann Warren. The incident caught the attention of State Sen. Brad Hoylman, who represents Manhattan. This is incredibly disturbing. The NYPD tweeted out that it was investigating and said that the car was not an NYPD vehicle. There is an ongoing investigation into an incident in Times Square involving a black Taurus sedan. Message from Dr. Amie: Working on your self esteem is crucial. Studies show that low self esteem can lead to poor relationships, addiction issues and more. This is something that you have the ability to change and take action with. When we learn to love ourselves, we strive for a better life—a happier relationship, a more fulfilling career or recovery from addiction. But changing the deep-rooted feelings we have about ourselves isn't easy. Seeking a therapist to learn skills to combat negative thoughts is helpful. The skill is to challenge and adjust these negative thoughts into more positive ones. Learning to value and care for your mind and body through a healthy lifestyle is important. Healthy eating, exercise and meditation can be the first steps in reclaiming physical and emotional confidence. Fully engaging with those we love is important. Feeling loved and supported (and being able to offer love and support in return) is a wonderful way to start increasing self-esteem. If you don't have any immediate friends or family then consider joining a support group or even volunteering. Helping others and focusing on them has proven to increase positive thoughts and improve mental health. #mentalhealth #confidence #selfesteem #therapy #therapist #dramie #dramieharwick #amieharwick #positivethoughts #coping #anxiety #depression 1361

He's long toyed with doing it, but rapper and fashion designer Kanye West appears to be making good on his promise to run for president. The multiplatinum Chicago native announced on Twitter Saturday that he's making good on what he said he'd do at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and running for president in 2020. "We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future," West told his 29.3 million Twitter followers. "I am running for president of the United States!" We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States ????! #2020VISION— ye (@kanyewest) July 5, 2020 West has created controversy his entire career but only recently become somewhat of a political figure, previously supporting President Donald Trump. The two have gone from meeting with Trump in Manhattan during his transition to the presidency to complimentary tweets to working on prison reform alongside his wife, Kim Kardashian West. The rapper made no further details of his run, or whether this signified a turn against the president. There was no indication that this was a prank or a joke, though West has given no official statement on the potential run. This article was written by Stephen M. Lepore for WPIX. 1371

INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Monday granted emergency use authorization to Eli Lilly and Company's experimental COVID-19 antibody treatment bamlanivimab.According to a statement from the company, the drug is authorized for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older with a positive COVID-19 test who are at high risk for progressing to severe COVID-19 and/or hospitalization. Lilly said in a statement the drug should be administered as soon as possible after a positive COVID-19 test and within 10 days of symptom onset. The authorization allows for the distribution and emergency use of bamlanivimab, which is administered via a single intravenous infusion."This emergency authorization allows us to make bamlanivimab available as a COVID-19 treatment for recently diagnosed, high-risk patients — adding a valuable tool for doctors fighting the now-increasing burden of this global pandemic," David A. Ricks, Lilly's chairman and CEO, said. "The rapid development and availability of bamlanivimab could not have been achieved without the relentless work of our Lilly team, collaboration across the industry and the urgent work being done by the government to ensure appropriate allocation to patients who need it the most."The emergency use authorization is based on data from BLAZE-1, a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 study in patients with recently diagnosed mild to moderate COVID-19 in the outpatient setting. Patients treated with the drug showed reduced viral load and rates of symptoms and hospitalization, Lilly said in the statement. Infusion reactions and other allergic hypersensitivity events have been reported, Lilly said. The emergency use authorization includes a warning for hypersensitivity including anaphylaxis and infusion-related reactions.Lilly said the drug is not authorized for use in patients who are hospitalized due to COVID-19 or who require oxygen therapy due to COVID-19 or who require an increase in baseline oxygen flow rate due to COVID-19 in those on chronic oxygen therapy due to underlying non-COVID-19 related comorbidity."The BLAZE-1 data show bamlanivimab, when given early in the disease course, may help patients clear the virus and reduce COVID-related hospitalizations, supporting our belief that neutralizing antibodies can be an important therapeutic option for patients fighting this virus," Daniel Skovronsky, M.D., Ph.D., Lilly's chief scientific officer and president of Lilly Research Laboratories, said. "We're proud of the speed with which we have been able to bring patients this therapy specifically designed to treat COVID-19. We thank those who have contributed to this medical advancement, particularly the clinical trial investigators and participants around the country."
