Worldwide furniture retailer IKEA announced Wednesday plans to stop the sale of alkaline batteries at all of its stores in lieu of rechargeable batteries, which the companies says is better for the environment.The retailer estimates it sells 300 million non-rechargeable alkaline batteries per year. He suggests companies create a new policy relating specifically to work-from-home reimbursement expenses."Some organizations I’ve seen actually have policies about what won’t be reimbursed. We won’t be reimbursing lawn care or electricity in the house. The clearer you can be, the better it is for an employee. And why is this so? Because everything is new.
