Hailing the China-Chile relations, Sun said that China is ready to join hands with the Chilean side to implement the new blueprint for deepening the mutually beneficial cooperation laid out by leaders from both countries when they met last year.

The Johannesburg summit is the second of its kind under the 15-year-old framework of the FOCAC, which groups China, 50 African countries that have established diplomatic ties with China, and the Commission of the African Union.

Themed with "collective action for inclusive and robust growth," the summit, held in the Turkish resort city of Antalya, is expected to enhance global confidence and ensure strong, sustainable and balanced growth for the world economy.
