BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Chile's ambassador to China said the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) talks during Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's visit to Latin America will cover several new areas, including e-commerce, government purchases, and financial services.
As Brazil's largest trade partner, China invested 18.94 billion U.S. dollars in the Latin American country in 2014, while Brazil, China's largest trading partner in Latin America, trying to get a bigger share of China's dynamic emerging market.
Zhang underscored the importance the NPC placed on developing ties with Thailand's National Legislative Assembly, and pledged to share experience on state governance, legislation and supervision.
During their telephone conversation, Vieira said that Brazil attaches great importance to its strategic cooperation with China and is willing to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as a founding member.
He also expressed Myanmar's wishes in actively participating in China's "Belt and Silk" initiative, hoping that it will further boost the two countries' mutual connectivity and industrial cooperation.
