There are places all over the Las Vegas region that are familiar to police. Hot spots that generate a lot of calls. Some might surprise you!KTNV in Las Vegas obtained a year's worth of data from Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson police departments to track the top locations. Data show police are responding to many of the same places every day, several times a day. As expected, some of the biggest Las Vegas Strip properties with the most traffic generate the most calls to police. The Strip is in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction.New to the top 10 in 2,018, at number 10, is the Wynn Las Vegas with 1,064 calls. That's up from 930 calls in 2,017.Fashion Show mall moved into the top ten also, racking up 1,125 in 2018. That means LVMPD responded on average three times a day, every single day. There really have been a couple of creepy stories in recent days about hackers breaking into people’s Ring security cameras.“There is actually a channel that someone has put together, like a YouTube channel, of hacked-into security cameras,” says Bob O’Donnell, the president of TECHnalysis Research. “And they’re trying to do it for fun and they’re harassing the people. I mean, it’s really sick.”O’Donnell says it’s not likely this has anything to do with security camera system, but rather how the owner sets them up. “People who are just using the basic default settings or doing no password because the convenience of wanting to get in there to change their settings, are leaving themselves open for people to come in from the outside,” the tech expert says.Hackers often reuse stolen or leaked credentials. They could get the info from past data breaches that expose usernames and passwords that people use on multiple devices.O’Donnell says people should change their security camera passwords regularly and set up two-factor authentication.“Basically, it means the equivalent of like a fingerprint scan and a password or a hardware key and a password, or a facial scan and a fingerprint,” O’Donnell says. “Bottom line is it’s two different things you need to get into to access your account.”O’Donnell says the bottom line is security cameras do bring peace of mind and convenience when they’re managed properly. 1433

Tiger Woods clinched his fifth Masters and 15th major title to seal one of the greatest comeback stories in sport after overcoming career-threatening back problems. The 43-year-old muscled his way through a tightly packed leaderboard to win by two shots at Augusta for his first major title in 11 years and first Masters win since 2005.It completes a fairytale return for the most dominant player of his generation -- and arguably the best ever -- after enduring "dark times" through injury since 2014.Woods underwent career-saving spine fusion surgery in 2017 and sealed an impressive comeback season last year with his first win for five years.Sunday's thrilling victory puts the former world No.1 just three majors behind the all-time record of Jack Nicklaus.Only fellow American Nicklaus has won more Masters, with six. Woods also joins Nicklaus as the only player to have won the Masters in three different decades after he clinched his first as a 21-year-old in 1997.Woods began the day two shots behind Italy's Francesco Molinari, and rode the roller coaster of a gripping final round to first share the lead after the Italian found the water in front of the short 12th.Two holes later five players were tied at the top, but Woods' birdie on the long 15th took him clear on his own. Another birdie on the short 16th ignited thunderous roars which reverberated around the towering pines as Woods marched off with a two-shot lead and a thousand-yard stare in scenes reminiscent of his heyday.Sporting a red mock turtleneck in a nod to his last win at Augusta in 2005, and chewing gum throughout, Woods maintained his cushion to edge world No.2 Dustin Johnson, three-time major champion Brooks Koepka and another American Xander Schauffele. When the winning putt dropped, Woods clenched his fist and punched the air to tumultuous applause, watched from behind the 18th green by his mother Kutilda, children Sam and Charlie, and girlfriend Erica Herman. 1966
The top federal prosecutor in Connecticut is assisting Attorney General Bill Barr in his review of the genesis of the 2016 Russia investigation, according to a source familiar with the review.US attorney John Durham has been tapped to help Barr, but is not acting as a special counsel like Robert Mueller, the source said, and will be looking at whether intelligence collection activities by the US government prior to election day were lawful. And while Barr has said publicly that he's not launching a full blown investigation into the FBI's handling of the matter, Durham's role -- first reported by The New York Times -- does provide one of the clearest signals to date of the seriousness of an inquiry President Donald Trump had called for repeatedly.Barr's concerns about surveillance of the Trump campaign were first revealed during testimony before the House Appropriations Committee last month when he suggested, controversially, 950
