BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), one of China's "big four" state-owned commercial banks, won the title for the world's largest initial public offering (IPO) after selling another 3.34 billion shares at its IPO price of 2.68 yuan per share.The ABC said in a statement at the Shanghai Stock Exchange Sunday that it raised an additional 8.94 billion yuan (1.31 billion U.S. dollars) after fully exercising the over-allotment option of its Shanghai share offering. KINSHASA, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo arrived in Kinshasa on Friday night to begin a three-day visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).The visit by the Chinese official is set to strengthen cooperative relations between the two friendly countries, officials said.Dai is scheduled to meet with Congolese President Joseph Kabila and Prime Minister Adolphe Muzito on Saturday.During his stay in DR Congo, Dai will visit the June 30 boulevard, the People's Palace and Kinshasa's Fiftieth Independence Hospital, which were all constructed by Chinese firms.Dai, who is heading a Chinese delegation on a five-nation African tour, had previously visited Ethiopia, Algeria and Equatorial Guinea. GUANGZHOU, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Five fishermen are missing after their fishing boat collided with an unknown vessel that then fled off the coast of south China's Guangdong Province early on Wednesday, local authorities said.The wooden fishing boat sank after colliding with the unknown vessel along the coast of Lufeng City in the early morning. Seven fishermen aboard the boat fell into the water, and two were subsequently saved by rescuers, the Lufeng Municipal Emergency Affairs Office said in a statement.The unknown vessel fled the scene following the collision, it said.Local maritime authorities are searching the area for both the five missing people and the runaway vessel, it added.
