Due to a recent rise in reported health issues, the US Food and Drug Administration warned on Tuesday against using or purchasing Rhino male enhancement products.Since 2007, the FDA said, it has identified more than 25 Rhino products, some with names such as Platinum Rhino 25000 and Krazzy Rhino 25000, that have hidden drug ingredients.The FDA said the products are often sold in single-serving packages at locations such as gas stations and convenience stores, or through online retailers such as eBay and Amazon. Ashley, director of the Office of Compliance at the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research.According to the FDA, the "products contain undeclared ingredients that are the same as or structurally similar to active ingredients found in FDA-approved prescription drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction."For example, some Rhino products contain the same active ingredient as Viagra and Cialis, sildenafil and/or tadalafil, respectively. These undeclared ingredients can lead to "significant safety issues and the risk of serious adverse events," the FDA said."The FDA has received reports of people experiencing chest pain, severe headaches and prolonged erections after taking a Rhino product that led to surgical intervention and hospitalization due to extreme drops in blood pressure," according to the agency.People who experience negative health effects or have issues with the quality or safety of a dietary supplement can report it to the FDA's MedWatch Safety Information program. Products identified by the FDA as having hidden active drug ingredients can be found in the tainted products database.Not all misrepresented products are included in the database, and consumers should still be wary, the FDA noted."Consumers should be cautious about using certain products, especially those promoted for sexual enhancement, weight loss, bodybuilding and/or pain relief. EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) -- Three lanes of Interstate 8 closed Friday night after at least one person was killed in a fiery crash near State Route 67. Around 5:30 p.m. a man driving in the fast lane of I-8 lost control and swerved into the center divider before reaching the slow lane and hitting 1997 Wabash 53-foot trailer being towed by a 2013 Kenworth T660, according to California Highway Patrol. Witnesses reported that the Ford was cut off by an unidentified vehicle which merged from the eastbound #2 lane into the #1 (fast lane) lane directly into the Ford’s path of travel. The driver of the Ford made a turning movement to the left and impacted the concrete center divide wall. As a result, the Ford veered back across the eastbound traffic lanes and broadsided the trailer.As the crash happened, the Ford became lodged under the trailer and was dragged for several hundred feet. (KGTV) - Boy Scout Troop 363 has been meeting at the Elks Lodge off West Washington in El Cajon for about 35 years: as long as they’ve stored two trailers in their parking lot. One of the trailers is used to store all of their equipment for their monthly camping trips. The other, a trailer full of supplies for their annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser held in November. In June, their camping gear trailer was stolen out of the lot. They went to check the surveillance cameras in the area.Troop Committee Treasurer Julia Flood told 10News, “The one camera that's on this side of the building was cut."With no leads on who might have stolen the trailer, the Boy Scouts decided to collect personal camping gear to continue their trips. A few weeks later, the second trailer, stored in the same lot, was also stolen. The boys' main fundraiser, which raises close to ,000 annually, was their only hope to replace the stolen items the first time."Our hopes was that by the time we had our Christmas fundraiser we’d be able to recoup some of that loss, now they’ve taken our only means we had to try and recoup," said Flood.The Scouts set up a GoFundMe Page asking for ,000.
