Long-time cartoon sitcom “The Simpsons” announced on Friday that non-white characters will no longer be voiced by white actors.“Moving forward, THE SIMPSONS will no longer have white actors voice non-white characters,” the show said in a statement on Friday.While the main characters on the cartoon are white, there are several characters of color. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was suspended following allegations that he had sex on the Universal Studios lot and the encounter was captured by the deputy's open microphone.It was unclear when the incident occurred."The deputy was immediately relieved of duty and an administrative investigation has been opened," according to a statement released by the department. "The deputy's peace officer's powers have been suspended and the proper administrative action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation."Audio of the incident was posted on TMZ's website on Tuesday. LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Chateau Marmont, a Hollywood hotspot for nearly a century, will be converted into a members-only hotel over the next year. The Los Angeles Times reports the owner plans to turn the 91-year-old building into a hotel where a select group of members buys into "a piece of a portfolio of the best real estate in the world." Members will own shares of the property and pay regular fees to cover management costs.
