"At night there will still be possibilities of refreezing over bridges and overpasses on the roads," he warned. The Virginia Department of Transportation advised drivers to allow extra braking distance and to take it slow."If you plan to travel overnight, watch for slick roads & use extra caution. The Washington Post has published what the newspaper describes as the "last piece" written by missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was allegedly killed and dismembered in his country's consulate in Istanbul earlier this month. In a note at the top of the column, published late Wednesday, Post Global Opinions editor Karen Attiah wrote that she "held off publishing it because we hoped Jamal would come back to us.""Now I have to accept: That is not going to happen," she said. "This is the last piece of his I will edit for The Post. This column perfectly captures his commitment and passion for freedom in the Arab world. A freedom he apparently gave his life for."In the piece, Khashoggi bemoaned the lack of free expression in the Arab world, leaving the majority of its population "unable to adequately address, much less publicly discuss, matters that affect the region and their day-to-day lives." 930

The success of online retailers such as Amazon is proof positive that people like shopping online, but many parents still prefer going to the actual store for their children's back-to-school supplies. That way, they have their items right away, and their children can see and hold their new supplies themselves. Who's getting the better deal, though? People who frequent Amazon, or those who head to physical stores such as Target and Walmart? We priced a basket of items for a third-grade classroom, including pencil sharpeners, Crayola colored pencils, Elmer's school glue, Expo markers and Ticonderoga pencils. And we can't forget that oh-so-cute Disney backpack. 691
