(KGTV) - Boy Scout Troop 363 has been meeting at the Elks Lodge off West Washington in El Cajon for about 35 years: as long as they’ve stored two trailers in their parking lot. One of the trailers is used to store all of their equipment for their monthly camping trips. The other, a trailer full of supplies for their annual Christmas Tree Fundraiser held in November. In June, their camping gear trailer was stolen out of the lot. They went to check the surveillance cameras in the area.Troop Committee Treasurer Julia Flood told 10News, “The one camera that's on this side of the building was cut."With no leads on who might have stolen the trailer, the Boy Scouts decided to collect personal camping gear to continue their trips. A few weeks later, the second trailer, stored in the same lot, was also stolen. The boys' main fundraiser, which raises close to ,000 annually, was their only hope to replace the stolen items the first time."Our hopes was that by the time we had our Christmas fundraiser we’d be able to recoup some of that loss, now they’ve taken our only means we had to try and recoup," said Flood.The Scouts set up a GoFundMe Page asking for ,000. Donald Trump Jr. is seeking to scale back his Secret Service protection, four sources familiar with Trump Jr.'s Secret Service protection confirmed Monday.The President's eldest son previously requested to travel without protection during a family trip to Nassau, Bahamas, in late June, a move reluctantly accepted by the Secret Service. Trump Jr. and his family traveled aboard a yacht for several days without his full detail, CNN has learned. A law enforcement source stressed the request to pull back on protection did not come from the agency.The Secret Service strongly pushed back on Trump Jr.'s request to waive protection for the Bahamas trip, according to two sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, but it was "demanded" by Trump Jr. himself. Now, the President's eldest son has asked that his full-time protection end, as well. EL CAJON (CNS) - A 49-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of fatally shooting a man in an unincorporated area near El Cajon. Daniel Christopher Allen, who lives in the unincorporated area, was booked into the San Diego Central Jail for murder, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.The shooting was reported in the 6000 block of Stallion Oaks Road, southeast of Dehesa Road and northeast of the Sycuan Resort, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, sheriff's Lt. Thomas Seiver said.Before deputies arrived, an acquaintance of the victim drove him about a mile and a half from the shooting scene, Seiver said.Deputies stopped the vehicle on Stallion Oaks Road near Dehesa Road and found the victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound. It was not immediately clear if Allen is the acquaintance.The victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene, Seiver said. 926

DUNDEE, Michigan — A 39-year-old woman was charged in connection with a fraudulent dog sale scheme.Police said Vanessa Young sold twelve sick puppies to unsuspecting buyers.Most of the dogs were sold for 0. Young told the buyers the dogs were healthy and registered with the American Kennel Club. However, the buyers discovered the claims to be false and the dogs became very ill shortly after the sale – and some even died, said police. Many of the victims spent thousands of dollars in veterinary care while trying to save and treat the puppies.Dundee Police Chief Tim Garbo said Young’s arrest came after a year-long investigation.Young is charged with felony defrauding and false pretenses and could face up to 5 years in prison or a ,000 fine.She was arraigned in First District Court of Monroe on Tuesday and has been released on bond. 860
